Green Valley Ranch

Post by rvegas70 »

I went down to GVR in Henderson to play a bit a few days ago. I haven't been in a few months. I was prepared to lose $400-$500. First machine I sat down at had a $1 royal progressive at $5200 double double bonus. So $40 bucks into it, I hit 4 3's with a kicker for $800.00. I was stoked for only putting in 40 bucks so far. I yanked the ticket at $ 750.00 and tried another one. $65 into it I hit 4 aces no kicker for another $800. I cash the tickets out and kick it up a notch with $2 double bonus. I hit several times on three machines, all non hand pays $500-$800 hits. Obviously I put some back in. After 5 hours of playing I took my one cash out ticket to the cage for $5800.00. Not bad for an overall $40.00 investment. I promise to have pictures on my next amazing run. Honestly had so many hits, too many photos to upload.

Great job, rvegas ... wonder if Vegas is loosening up a bit to get the gamblers to come back? I've had mixed results at GVR but done decently overall. Best win there was a few years back on Super Times Pay where I hit AWK x5 holding just a single ace

Tomcat. I seldom venture down to the strip to play anymore. I do so well at Sunset Station, GVR and Red Rock (a bit of a drive for me). I only play $1 and higher, (seems to pay out more). I put 100 bucks, if nothing going on after no signs of life after 8-10 hands, I pull the ticket and try another. This system seems to work for me well. :)

rvegas, Keep up the good work -- I tend to get married to one machine, so it's feast or famine for me. Never could win at Red Rock, which is a shame because it's such a nice casino hotel
