stations casino
I had a bad trip to Vegas in march, but i did spend some time at the red rock. Like the place a lot ,ton of machines and a great casino, the parking was great.Last week a got a message from a rep there. missed the call, but today the mail outs came. Last week I got a email for 25 dollar food credit and 40% off the rooms.Today's mail outs included 3 free nights at any of the stations casino in Vegas. 100 dollar comp slot money and A invitation to a slot contest in June for myself and a guest. Most of the time i get better comps from the marketing company for these casinos in the mail, than talking to a rep.Next trip I will stay there.I stayed at the Wynn last time out, fantastic rooms and hotel was first class. The gambling there sucked, so i will avoid that place next. I did get comped at the Wynn,I still payed for the rooms in the long run.

Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, the M and South Point are my favorites. From a locals opinion I don't play VP on the strip.

Red Rock is our favorite Vegas casino/resort (went on the recommendations from the video poker sages on this forum). We stayed and played at Sunset Station last trip and liked that casino as well. Aliante station is very nice, like a mini red rock, but a bit of a distance from the strip. I agree, the gambling off strip is much better than on the strip.

raven,
RR is our favorite and glad to hear you liked it. Kjohn and I both contact Ester (host) at RR who is usually pretty helpful. Or contact marketing who have been great getting comps and money to play. Couple of thoughts:
1) RR has always comped our rooms and meals at the end of our play. So check with a host before you leave.
2) RR has a shuttle to/from the airport to save costs. It can also take you to the Strip. This may save you taxi/rental costs. (see link below)

3) The strip mall across the street is worth checking out.
4) If you haven't and can take a trip to Red Rock Canyon do so its worth the time and is beautiful. Casino used to have trips so check with them.
Wish we were headed to RR soon!!! Have a great trip.

We stayed and played at the Suncoast close to RR last month. All 3 nights were comped and it was our first stay off the strip. I could not believe how many VP machines were in the casino. I literally believe 50% of the casino is VP machines, with many progressives.Next time anyone goes to RR definitely check out the Suncoast!

The VP at Red Rock blows Suncoast to pieces.

Very good selection at Red Rock. Have not had much luck there... YET.
