Ultimate X Strategy?
I am aware that the reason it is so hard to find a strategy guide for Ultimate X is because the task is so daunting, and the strategy card might end up being as thick as a phone book, but I would like to know if any of the math people here would be able to give me a basic approach about when to alter basic strategy for the game.
My wife and I love to play Video poker, and we try to play correctly, but we also like to have a good time and enjoy a few beers. If we come out ahead we view it as a bonus.
Is there some basic advice for playing the Ultimate X a little smarter. I realize that straights, flushes, and full houses have the larger multipliers, so is there a game plan that a person might use to feel a litttle more secure about going against base strategy. I am familiar with correct strategy for JOB, DDB, and Deuces Wild, so given that, does anyone have some general advice on how and when to deviate from basic strategy (preferably without the need for using a calculator)?
Thanks
Tom
