Re: VP at Caesar's
Good luck, I just got back from Caesars 5 day trip and got mugged. Paytables are horrid and couldn't get anything to hit. Played about 50+ hours best hand was AWAK 1 time. Had better luck around the backside by the sports book playing flex play double play. I had to walk over to the Beau just to win some money only to loose at Caesers. I did this on 3 occasions. Go figure.

Wow, now I'M really confused. Caesars is in Las Vegas, and The Beau is in Biloxi, Mississippi. That is one heck of a walk..
I was @ Caesars LV this past week, in addition to Aria, and had about the same experience. I got my fair share of premium quads, but no kickers.

Thanks Sonny for the tip, I will have to check those out.
Yes brmcc, we do have a car and plan on it up many others during the trip. But I am usually up at 5am and heading down to the casino to play why wife sleeps so thats when I will play most at Caesars.
My surprise for the comped rooms is because we only usually get comped at IP, Ballys or Flamingo. Caesar's was always 79 or more a night, was shocked when they said FREE!!
That's great, Tony. It is probably a time-of-year thing making Caesars available to you. We were there last week, and it was already above 100 each day.
See if you can get in the Augustus Tower instead. I think it is much nicer. All they can say is 'No'.

There is a Caesars/Harrahs property called The Grand in Biloxi, but it is a LOOONG walk from The Beau. I thought this thread, though, was about Vegas.

Yea sorry, I meant Bellagio which is connected to Caesers. I always get the Bea Rivage and Bellagio mixed up. Anyway there is a bank of $1 progressive right next to the bar that played pretty hot. This was the only place I had any luck on my 5 day visit on muliple occasions. And I played everywhere from Red Rock, Paris, Planet Hollywood, MGM, New York New York, Aria, Cosmo, Casers, Wynn and everything in between. The Bellagio was the only place I remotly had any luck, others was 1000$ or $1500 and nothing. Red Rock being the worst. I did hit Aces at Paris on the bank next to the elevator but I was 1200 in when I did that and they were dealt. No kicker.

Thanks for the Augustus Tower tip Billyjoe. We got married out in Vegas 5 years ago and remember it was 110-115 everyday. Wifey didn't do to well in that extreme heat, so we are planning on being indoors alot.SPX, sorry about your bad run, have you ever played at South Pointe? I have heard a lot of good things regarding VP there.

Yeah, Bellagio makes more sense for a stroll from Caesars. Did you know that Steve Wynn originally had the two resort's named as Bellagio in Biloxi and the Beau Rivage in Vegas? But when then-Harrahs announced building Paris in LV, Steve decided he did not want two French-sounding resorts so close on the strip, so he switched the names.
Just some more worthless info from BillyJoe..

I had heard it was because beau rivage meant beautyful waterfront.
