What you say does make sense billy, and to me it far surpasses the "logic" shadow and his minions are using. The only comment would be that if a casino offered an unrealistic paytable, it might put up a red flag.

Guys, we just got word that were to shove off for Hickam AFB at 0300 for a week of classes and exercises, so Im checking out to get some shut-eye. No cell phones or computers allowed due to the nature of what were doing, so no skinning shadow until I return. If youre playing this week, good luck!
Well, if they are not doing anything illegal, as you assert, why would they care about any 'red flag'?

Mustering out, huh? Well, good luck. I was going to ask you if you saw the article about the increase in suicide rates amount the enlisted personnel in the military - now averaging one a day. Kinda flies in the face of your 'theory' that folks only join up to get all those benefits and apply for PTSD compensation when they return, doesn't it?

Don't get a paper cut...

But all the regulations everyone keeps throwing up just say that a machine must payback a minimum 75%. How it gets there is in the contract between the casino and the chip maker. I never said the routines are breaking the law or illegal. Long as they payback 75% they don't violate. Can't you adjust the payback % of a slot machine by altering it "hit" frequency? There is no paytable adjustments when lowering a payback % for slots. It's not out of the realm of possibilities to have a similar technique for poker without breaking the law or even what's advertised. It can still all be random but with an astrix.

That's the difference between class III and ClassII/VLTs. The former are required to be random and fair, the latter are just random and could be set up like slots.

All we have in this area is class lll vp and I could accept that the machines were completely random if you could explain why I see so many 4 cards to the flush off the draw. It seems like I read this should occur about 1 every 36 hands on average which would meen I should see somewhere around 22 per hour on average if I play 800 hands per hour. A person who didn't play much or even someone who didn't know any better may not notice this happening or even care but I play a lot of vp and it really makes me question how it can be completly random with this happening. It's crazy to see this happen right before your eyes when you start paying attention, I've only counted them a few times, once we came up with 71 in an hour, another time we counted 13 in 15 minutes of play. I saved the best for last, 45 minutes into the session we had seen 39 when up popped a dealt royal flush, that makes 4 for me in about 4 years.

When Frank has his utility finalized you should give it a try.

BTW, 4 to a flush is a better than average deal in most bonus games. On average for 9/6 DDB it returns over 5.74 credits which is a minimum return of 115%. If you are getting more than average it should be considered a good thing unless, of course, you aren't hitting 9/47 of those hands.

I'm really just trying to understand why it happens all the time when I play DDB, I can walk around the corner and play the bank of progressive vp machines and the 4 to the flush off the deal falls to average numbers.

Short term patterns happen all the time in VP. keep your eye on it, though. It's always best to be vigilant.

we seem to have a difference of opinion on Weather to trust the casino or not.The math is all find and dandy. But in the real world of greed and corruption, you have to ask yourselves a question. Was vp a lot easier to win 10 or 20 years ago.My answer is much easier without a doubt.Just to change gears a little bit last night my son and friends watch the fight and if you think this is no corruption in are world you are crazy. The outcome was a crime. Someone got rich. They don't build those billion dollar hotels, because the players are winning.
