Multi-strike poker?
I havent read any stories here about people playing multi-strike. Has anyone ever played and won? I usually try to play through 100 or 2 each session just to give it a try. Have had some success playing DW and catching 5 aces. No hand pays but 5-8 hundred a few times. Thanks for reading.

I was betting 100 credits and hit four aces with a kicker on the top line (x8) for 32,000 credits. Haven't had much luck there since so I visit another casino a lot more. Unfortunately, they don't have Multi-Strike. I do miss playing it though.

I find it breaks up the monotony of pounding away on single line VP. But thats just me. Im gambling more now at Foxwoods or Mohegan due to moving to RI and they have a bunch of the multi strike machines, seemingly with the same people always on them every time I visit.

I saw someone hit for somewhere around $16000 at Caesars a couple of years ago.

Celtics2424,
When you play MS what games do you play? Do you use the modified strategy for MS?
BTW: Welcome to the forum.

I have a memorable story about multi-strike. A while back, I used to play dollar denomination super times pay MS quite a bit. My game of choice was TDB. Anyway, one day I was hammering away at the machine and got up to the 3rd line (4X line) where a 3X multiplier also pops up, making it a 12X pay line. Wouldn't you know it, but I then get dealt 4 Aces with a 2 kicker ($4K x 12). The machine is now showing a hand total on that line of $48K but there's no bells, no lights, no nothing ,so I'm going nuts. it took me at least 2 full minutes to realize that since the jackpot was dealt to me, the machine saw it as an automatic winner, held all the cards, and immediately jumped up to the top line where it was patiently waiting me to play the final line. Once I realized this, I quickly played the top line, and only then did I get the much awaiting bells, music, and flashing jackpot message. It was my largest JP ever, but I must say that from that point forward, multi-strike was a cruel, money hungry game that I eventually stopped playing. Somewhere I have photos from that hit and will post them if I can ever locate them.

You don't see people playing it too often in the casinos, but at least on Vp.com, must admit, it's pretty addictiing.

I think more people would be inclined to play the game if you could consistently find it in nickel and dime denominations. I really enjoy the game and feel that playing dimes gives me a good chance to play for a while and possibly win something that amounts to something.

Also, I want to add that the additional games associated with Multi-strike are alot of fun to play too. I can't remember all the other games, but I really enjoyed getting to the top line and then having a chance to pick my way up for my multiplier. This gave the game a fun variation. I also enjoy the "5th" line game and the double down game option. All of these are very enjoyable and entertaining options for multi-strike.
