Re: Biloxi Excellent Adventure
BillyJoe,Great hits at the Beau. I'm going mid-July (one of their free flights/hotel packages) and will try some tbd. My game plan is to play deuces wild, win a little and try the superX machines located to the right of the bar near the little counter cafe. The last time I was there in April I hit for a few thousand on those machines. The pay tables are not great but they do seem to hit fairly often. As I was getting ready to leave a guy next to me hit 4 fours with a 10x multiplier for $4K. Very nice for him.Glad you had a good time golfing. I don't golf buy my friend and I will get free facials and Beau sent me $500 in a coupon to use at their shops in addition to my free play. So, we'll have fun on our little mini-vacation.Again - great wins for you. I'm always happy to see winning pics. Keep it going.

My GHIN is an 11 right now, but getting better. Still recovering from 3 surgeries in 4 years. Did more rehabbing than golfing during that time.

Hi Billyjoe,
Sounded like a great trip - good times, gambl'n and golf'n! I didn't know if you were in the area for Debby or traveling across the country. I am on Alligator Point right now, arriving last Saturday night. This is our 3rd annual trip for Shark Fishing from the Sand. Some of the group arrived on the 15th and last week they landed, tagged, and reported 25 greater than 5', a half dozen over 7' and the largest being 9'7".
We rode out Debby and it wasn't too bad as we weren't w/o electricity for long and we had plenty of groceries and beverages. We received somewhere between 20 - 30" of rain, starting around midnight on Saturday thru Tuesday noon and it was accompanied by a couple of days of 40 - 60 mph winds. We thought about heading to Biloxi while the storm passed but it's 6 hours on a good day and knew it would not be a easy drive in this storm!
We are leaving here Friday afternoon and going to Biloxi for a couple of days, meeting 2 other couples there. We are staying at the the Grand but I will spend a lot of time on Saturday at the Beau. Hoping for some good playing time along with those great Fri/Sat night coastal seafood buffets!

Glad you survived Debby, Rob. I was actually in Biloxi for most of the time that it was hammering Florida, and Biloxi was fine. I got home to a bunch of down tree limbs, that was about all. The drainage pond on the far end of our property is totally filled, so we could use a little stretch of dryer weather now. Have fun in Biloxi. The Grand casino is about dead, so I don't blame you for drifting over to the Beau. Shrimp, crab legs, gumbo - what's not to like?
