True enough. And the good folks at videopoker.com are sponsors of that program, thank you very much.  I get enough positive feedback about the show that I'll continue to post information about it here and on vpFREE. But I always identify it in the title. If you have no interest in the show, it's very easy for you to ignore my posts on that subject. Bob

I think its great that GWAE is doing fine, and that videopoker.com helps sponsor it. But seeing that this is a VIDEO POKER discussion forum, I asked the question. No answer tells me the answer. Heck, Id even like to see a discussion on why Mr. Dancer had to once again blow some kind of horn on his new LVA column about why he was playing lower limit games at the Palms.

Bob, do not take offense, but I live in Florida, and made it a point to listen to the show once back when Frank Kneeland was also on. The guest was a member of the Nevada Gaming Commission. On this site, prior to the show date, we were solicited for questions that may be asked of him. I sent in a few, specifically about how the NGC ensures the compliance of the VP machines on casino floors. I was actually pretty psyched to hear what this guy had to say.

On the show, Frank asked the NGC guy a couple of 'lame' questions, thanked him, and then spent the rest of the show on a telephone interview with Andrew "Dice" Clay, who was coming to perform in Vegas that weekend. Frank was all gushy that Clay had given him backstage passes to his upcoming Vegas show, I guess to impress Frank's date.

Sorry, but I got completely turned off.

If you ever get an NGC person back on, and will ask him how they monitor VP machine compliance in casinos, please let me know.

I agree with Billy in that it sure would have been interesting to hear the answer to that. I dont know who Andrew Clay is, but is he really more interesting than the NGC? Or it could be that my buddy shadowman has drilled into everyone the who, when, where, how, what, and why the NGC does everything a thousand times with such precision accuracy, that Bob and Frank thought "who needs a real live expert to explain it"?

I am in agreement with the criticism of the Andrew Dice Clay interview. I was horrified by it. I heard it for the first time "live" and was basically screaming at Frank not to EVER do anything like that again. The format of the show changed dramatically when Frank was no longer a co-host. I like Frank, but our visions for the show were very different. I wanted the show to be entertaining while primarily being informative. He came from a show business family and saw the show as primarily being entertainment --- and his view of entertainment was quite a bit different than mine. He thought Howard Stern was a good role model for him to follow. I strongly disagreed and we had to part ways. If you haven't heard the show since he was co-host, you might want to have a listen to one of them since August 2011. You just might find your opinion of the show has changed. Frank almost had another radio show recently. I was rooting for him. He's a brilliant guy and I hoped he flourished in a different environment. But his co-host on the new show has basically become senile and the show couldn't happen. Bob

Bob - really enjoying your radio show and am training hard on your VPW software for my trip to Vegas. Might even attend your class at Sam's Town in August.Just a quick question: Do you know where one can play Deuces Wild Super Times Pay in Vegas? The vpfree2 search engine returns no results when I search for it but surely there should be a machine somewhere in Vegas? Thanks!

Not for a good paytable.  The best low-roller STP I know of is 25c 3-line or 5-line JoB (99.82%) at Gold Coast. There are a couple multi-line Good-Times Pay NSU machines at South Point. What Deuces Wild variant are you practicing?

Thanks for the reply - will be checking out the JoB at the GC. Playing just the standard DW for now (started with the whole VP thing a week ago but I'm hooked) and also JoB. Any recommendation for taking up another DW variant that isn't too complicated for a beginner?
