Killing Time?

Occasionally I find myself in a casino looking to kill time.   This usually happens when I'm having a really bad day and am hoping things will improve in a couple of hours.  Sometimes it because I'm on  a video Poker road trip and can't drive home.  I've been looking for some diversion that won't cost me much.  Once in a while, I'll play one coin .25 VP Jacks, but I did this once and hit a Royal for $62.50...  I play at home all the time on my computer where the payout is zero, so I don't know why this bothered me so much.  I tried playing .25 Keno, but it's really boring sitting there watching the little balls drop (yuk).  Nickel Video Poker would be perfect, but we don't have it around here.   I guess I could drink or chase cocktail waitresses for a couple of hours, but one bad habit is enough.   Besides, my wife would hit the jackpot, if you know what I mean.  Any suggestions?

Well, Phil, I know that you go to the Tampa Hard Rock. I like to play some 'mindless' games like Hot Shot. I have actually won a few handpays playing max credits on it over the years just screwing around while the Mrs was enjoying VP. You can play at as low as a nickel level.

Is Hot Shot a slot or is it a another game on a video poker machine?

 Sports book or OTB if they have one. There are few things as satisfying as successfully  handicapping races and especially hitting your first trifecta.  It doesnt require alot of bkrl if you know how to bet and it eats alot of time up.
