Casino Lost Power But I didn't
Doesn't everyone love my wild stories. Here is the next chapter. The main casino that I play at several times a week, everyone knows me and sometimes they find me and say hello even when I am trying to sneak and hide
Anyway, so I am playing last week and a storm comes rolling in, I really had no idea being locked up in play but suddenly the power went out, inside the entire casino. Except.... you guessed it my machine, I was playing $2 10/7 TDB. People to the left people to the right every one was looking at me saying why is his machine on? How odd is that I say. Within a minute the generators kick in, I am steadly playing my machine while everyone elses is rebooting.
So I am playing an thinking at the same time how is that even possible? The only way this could happen is if it was maybe powered to an external backup equipment kind of like how you can charge your iPhone from a Laptop even though it is not plugged in but gets power from the battery. So I cash out and move machines. Well I be dam 15 minutes later the power goes out again, and again my machince is the only one in the entire casino that stays on. I immediatly stand up to look back across the casino at the machine I was playing and this time it lost power as well but there was nobody playing it from what I could see.
My mind was running wild with scenarios at this point, are these things hooked up to some kind of big brother network with plug and play monitoring?

Sounds like perhaps the machines that you had played on had a capacitor of some sort that will keep power up for a little while before it drains down. Just a guess.
