I hit this at 7-11 this morning getting coffee. Not a bad way to start off a Monday.

Holy crap, which 7-11 was this in Vegas?   or were you in reno?    I hit a 5 cent royal in a 7-11 in Vegas wayyyyyy back in 1996, the one nearest the end of the Fremont street Experience....and get this, since this was way back when COINS were still used in many machines, the 5 cent machine spit out about 300 nickels and then went silent, requiring the clerk to come over and help.  He was a very kindly but older Chinese dude, who spoke little english.  He asked me how I wanted the remaining 183.50, or at least I thought that is what he asked.....he goes into the back room, instead of going to the register, and returns 5 minutes later with a plastic BAG full of NICKLES!!!   3,700 nickels to be exact.....do you guys know or remember how HEAVY 3,700 nickels can be, even in a heavy duty see thru plastic baggie type bag???? I had asked him for the money in twenties, he just smiled and nodded and returned five minutes later with the bag O' nickels.   it took me another 5 minutes to explain to him that, since I was in a wheel chair, i couldnt carry the bag and wheel back to my Hotel (Golden Nugget).   He frowned, took the nickels back and gave me the cash bills I wanted.  Still, I was a happy camper, even back then in 1996, a royal in a 7-11 was a awesomely rare event, even if it was only on a 5 cent machine!
