December Contest Stats....

So I have played 228 sessions.68,400 individual hands.I have 80 entries.One Royal (not dealt).Multiple 4 Aces dealt ...none with a kicker.In one of the previous contests, I had over 100 entries.I won nothing.Am I wasting my time?

It's not a waste of time if you enjoy playing. Same can be said about any activity. If you don't win money from your golf partners, are you wasting your time? It's all about having fun.

I doubt that winning the Monthly Contest would be a life-altering event anyway.

When you look at how many members there are on this site and how many play in the contests, it would be a rare event to win. Most of us have never won, but enjoy playing. This site gives you a lot of bang for the buck I think and have always played and placed only once (5th) in all the years playing and I was one of the original before there were contests or chat. Play to sharpen your skills or simply for the fun of it--if you expect to win, you're sure to be disappointed.
