Sweet C related to me this one on our past trip. A lady to her side put money in the machine but it didn't register. The lady turned to Sweet C to confirm someone saw her. Sweet C confirmed. Being a busy night it was a long time for a slot tech to show up. The old lady explained her problem to the tech. The tech opens the machine and sure enough the bill acceptor has jammed. He politely asked the lady to not use $2 bills in the machine.
