Re: Total Rewards - tier requirements
This offer looked to good to be true. So I started reading the fine print. Just because you reach 150K TC does not mean you become 7 stars. And they will not say what you need. I will bet that they will exclude vidio poker players.

Seven Stars status is by invitation only, and is not only based on your annual Tier Credit earnings. Once you have earned the required 150,000 Tier Credits within the year, your account will be reviewed. During the review process, many factors will be considered, including your level of play. If it is determined that you qualify for Seven Stars status, an invitation will be sent to you.
To my knowledge, Jack, this has always been true, even when the hurdle point was 100k Tier Credits. I am a VP player, and have been a 7Star for several years. I do not believe that playing VP will automatically exclude you.

What level of play are the looking at? If you earn 150K TC you played a lot. And what are the other "many considerations" that they will look at. My major concern is why they will not tell you up front what you need to be seven stars. This seems real fishy to me. Looks to me like the old bait and switch.

I do not know for sure, Jack, but I would assume that Caesars would like to reserve the right to not heap rewards, comps and goodies on someone that they really do not want. This may be a player that has a history of disruptions in the casino, or a player with a VERY strong winning record at their casinos.
My own, personal experience has been that I have never been 'challenged' as far as my eligibility for 7Star membership over the past several years.

I think it also has to make sure the player does not have outstanding markers past due.

Last year i had my best year ever. I got 25000 TC and came out ahead in money for the year. The most i played in any one day was 3200 TC on the $1 JorB. But most days I played a lot less. But under the new system if i played 2500 TC on 20 different days with the 5000 TC bonous you would have 150K TC. But do you think that they would give me 7 Star if most of my TC are bonous?

When Caesar's reviews for 7 Star status, one of the things they look at is to see whether or not you were the actual player, and not loaning out your card. This is easily accomplished when you have overnight trips where they can compare your room reservations with the amount of play on those days. I suppose for local players, the host could verify the player's frequent play.

the only time that i get a room and stay in Atlantic City, is the summmer. Most trips are by bus, for the day. they used to give me free rooms during the week, but they stopped that and they don"t send me anything in the mail anymore, like they used to.
