Off to Biloxi Again!

We're leaving in the morning for a three day Video Poker trip to the Beau Rivage in Biloxi Mississippi.  We'll be playing quarter Jacks then changing games and moving up in denomination according to plan.  Got a Royal the last time through and am hoping for a repeat (or two).

Biloxi turned out to be a fun trip. Monday evening I started out playing quarter Jacks switching to .50 DDB when I doubled to $40.  Never saw a 4-of-kind all evening, so I lost a couple of hundred.  Tuesday morning started the same way.  After about an hour, I switch to quarter Deuces, got a run up to $40, stayed with Deuces and moved to .50 play.  In the next couple of hands I hit a $500 4 deuce jackpot and all was good again.  On Tuesday we jumped from casino to casino playing deuces all the way.  I had a great day hitting a total of 5 4 deuce jackpots including another one for $500.   On Wednesday the quad deuces quit happening, so I switched back to the Jacks/DDB strategy.  I was lucky and hit a couple of .50 4-of-kinds including one with 4 aces for $400. Thursday morning before we left to come back, I was in full protection mode and went back to Deuces.  I lost $100 in about 2 hours, changed machines and on the first hand drew quad deuces again.  Yes!  My wife walked up about then and we folded and went to breakfast.  I wound up winning about $900 on the trip with no Royals.  It was a great time and the Beau Rivage was fantastic as usual.  They comped our hotel room for three days and paid for all the food and drinks.  We even got to watch the Mardi Gras parade from our hotel room.
