Re: Mississippi Coast query
Billyjoe, back to the original question. I know you go to the coast quite a bit. Do you know of UltimateX 10 play with decent DDB paytables? The reason I am seeking that particular configuration is that is the only UltimateX game I can make money with. Thankee.

Even though I do frequent Biloxi, Rascal, I am probably not the best sourse of that info. When I go, I frequent 3 casinos: Beau Rivage, Grand and Palace. I know the Beau has some Ultimate X 10-way machines, but I beleive that they are $0.05 denom. I do not play them, so I do not know their paytables. Sorry - wish I could have been more help.

Well, if the machines are 8/5 DDB (probably will be 7/5), it would make them one of the highest paying machines according to VPFree2. They currently list the best game to be an 8/5 JoB progressive right now. Which game(s) do you play there, billyjoe? Hopefully they pay better than 97.3% longterm...
8/5 DDB 10-play Ultimate X pays 97.35% max, fwiw. Full pay is 9/6 DDB 10-play and pays 99.87%, max. You lose 0.05% by not adjusting strategies due to multipliers though. I have never seen full-pay in my life (apparently exists at South Point-Las Vegas).
The 9/6 DDB Ultimate X strategy, not as good for 8/5 DDB.

I prefer the higher volitility games, like TDB. Some are 9/5, others are 9/6, depending on the denom. However the Beau recently removed the ML DoublePay bank, along with a bank of ML/MD VP, which had TDB on them.
When VP runs cold, I will switch to slots and table games.

Well, at least 9/6 TDB exists, but VPFree2 doesn't bother to list it I guess since it is a non-progressive. But 9/6 TDB is better than probably most of the those bad progressives at Beau probably get up to. If you ever make it to Tunica, you can play 9/7 TDB at the Roadhouse, or play 9/5 TDB with Double STP and have a field day of swings...lol
