New "Mid Play Poker" available for all

Post by Webman »

Mid Play Poker

The
Mid Play Poker™ feature is more than just a chance to win a multiplier.
This feature rewards the player with an opportunity to place up to
three additional side bets on the outcome of the game after the initial
deal. That’s a total of up to four possible winning combinations, all
for the price of just one additional credit. Constantly changing
winning-hand category variables guarantee Mid Play Poker™ is never the
same game twice.

It appears to me from playing a few hands on this site that accepting the mid-play bet generally reduces the overall EV of the game.  I never saw a player edge on any Mid-Play bet.I would have expected that you could offer a few player advantage bets from time to time and still have a negative expectation game that would be good for the casinos. But otherwise it's an interesting concept.

Is this game around anywhere? Are there any player advantage bets from time to time ever or like the New2vp said do they all have a negative expectation?

I've sent an inquiry to find out the status of it. I will post back here when I find out.

Update: Sadly, it sounds like this game didn't perform well and has been removed.
