I agree with BillyJoe, if you had read everything that happened Ambassador E on all the previous posts that lead up to this, there is no apology, other than to call Webman a "dick" and to express his undying devotion to Yooperlinda. There was no apology for all the offensive language he used. The sad part is that thius is just gonna drag on and on, because like a spoiled child, he wants attention and will keep this up to get attention, good or bad, to drive home his point that by now no one really gives a flying fig about.  You know me too, Ambassador and have never had a problem on here with anyone. No one was making fun of him just trying to change the subject and move on, which has become increasing clear he's unable to do. I feel I've lost a friend in him and instead of trying to convert people to his way of thinking, he's turned off most of the people on here to whom he pleads his case. I said I wasnt gonna say anything else, but he was out of line and I think you need to investigate this a little further to learn all the facts. If I thought he was right, I would have defended him all the way, but NO ONE, NO ONE, black , white, red, yellow, or brown has the right to speak to ANYONE ON THIS SITE the way he did to Florida Phil, bullies come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and just mocking those now even further, just makes him seem even more of one.   Sorry   Kati

The suspension was a warning and a similar offense will result in a permanent ban. A warning may not have even been justified given the deliberate intent, but I'm hopeful this will not happen again.For the record, I never demanded that edog post an apology as any sort of term for reinstatement. In a private message thread, I sarcastically said that "I look forward to your apology" upon his return but I knew a legitimate apology would not be forthcoming. He took this seriously, as he received my next reply too late.In any event, I hope this issue can be put to bed. Unfortunately, that means edog will have to learn to be respectful towards other members on an issue that he takes as very personally offensive. Hopefully others can be respectful as well and measure their use of the word and not use it in a manner that is a deliberate attempt to spark controversy.Because of his known sensitivity on the subject, calling edog an "indian" will be considered offensive. Name-calling of any kind isn't allowed to begin with and he considers this an offensive name so people should respect that on a personal level.However, referring to a tribal casino as an "indian casino" is fully acceptable at this time, mostly on account of the fact that you can go to numerous casino web sites and find the tribe themselves referring to the casino as an Indian Casino. Whether you agree with the term or not, it is not fair to become outraged at other members for using a term that is widely accepted in a manner that they don't intend as offensive. If you want to make a difference on this issue, I suggest writing letters to the casinos in question and having them make a personal stand against the use of the word. If that should happen and there is a sea change of acceptance towards the word, then we may revise our policy here as well. I understand some tribes have done this, but it is still altogether common both within the industry and on a social level to use the term "indian" in many cases. As of right now, using the term to refer to an Indian Casino is acceptable.Have a nice day.

Kati, I started this thread two day's ago. Shortly after the first korean reference showed up. I have left this alone I never addressed it nor was I. So I do not understand or acknowledge any of your accusation's in your post above. The reason our relatioship is strained is because you did not have the intestinal fortitude to address me head on. You chose to go through a third party. Whom I have an undying devotion to. I attempted to P.M. you about this you chose to ignore it So I guess you reap what you sow.

I love threads like this, and the whole Brew-ha-ha that started it!  lol   Aside from VP, I frequent forums like this for the sparring, spats and online knife fights that inevitably ensue!   I agree, VP should be the primary focus, but adding some other elements and drama creates a more intersting and fun Forum.     While obviously there should be a minimum standard of decorum and language rules, in the interest of freedom of speech and exchange of input I think everyone should check their sensitivity at the door!    I personally prefer to live, and POST in the real world..... As I have mentioned before, I am in a wheelchair, I was born with a bone disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta (aka BRITTLE BONE disease).    And, while I expect equality in society in terms of opportunities for employment and accessibility, I do NOT expect people to go out of their ways to NOT offend me or worry about what to say or do in my presence or towards me.....I was born this way, I cannot help it, but it does not entitle me to special treatment or consideration.   I believe this extends to other issues like race, religion, sexual orientation, politics, etc.    If someone calls me a "cripple" I usually laugh and say "yes I am!  How can you tell?"   I am more offended when players in this forum refuse to believe my horrendous AC results and that the machines may be rigged!!    But I will never intentionally try to hurt someone in any way....I prefer to be nice to people and get along, and I will buy anyone on this forum a drink if they have the balllz to introduce themselves to me!   Ooops  sorry webman for typing Ballz!  Ooops  did it again! Edited to ask:  Is it "brew ha ha"  or "broo ha ha"  or "Brouhaha" or ?????   I gotta know in case I decide to start the next one.....

Edog was asked to make an apology.and when he does people make fun of it.were supposed to be adults here people.edog is a friend of mine.you need to show him.more respect than you are. If the forum is being asked to show edog more respect then I think the forum is entitled to be shown the same courtesy from edog. A recent example would be: edog telling a forum poster that they are not Native American because they are only 3% Native American.
