I couldn't believe the coddling done by Webman, either, as he has done in the past with EdogEdog was suspended for a week and told that his stance on the issue is wrong, that people can say Indian Casino as much as they want. Nobody else was suspended. I guess I'm confused as to your definition of coddling.

I suggest you type into your search engine indian offensive. It might open your eye's a bit. By the way Jim the brave's won in six game's not cleveland. I could say more on this subject then I would probably get suspended again. We all know nobody want's that.

Correct, the last time the INDIANS won the World Series was in the 1948, a little better then Chicago Cubs in 1908. however on Video Poker.com the only INDIANS we support are the Chicago Black Hawks.

You mean the team that lost to the Blackhawks 2-1 on 1/27/13? Or maybe the team that lost to the Blackhawks 2-1 on 3/1? oops, it has to be the team that lost 7-1 to the Blackhawks on 3/31? If it isn't any of those then it has to be the team that lost to the Blackhawks 3-2 on 4/12?

I went back to wikipedia.  Yes, Atlanta won the series in six games. I misread the posting at wikipedia. In response to the question “why would anyone call someone an Indian” allow me to clarify my posting.  While I am not trying to insult anyone by using a “non insulting” name, I have no reference point.  What person that posts on this site knows what “non insulting” word that they should not use when writing to someone else?True, now I know what word that I am not allowed to use in conjunction with writing about or to one person.  Just look at how much effort has went into you making this clear to the rest of us.  The only people that know what word or words that someone else does not like are those people that interact a lot.As far as I know, there is no precedent for this web site to set aside a word that is not to be used in speaking to or about just one other person.  Furthermore, only a hand full of people know this.  It remains a secret to the other 200,000+ people on this site.  Additionally, the word is not negative.  Lastly, the word I assume is accurate when applied to this one poster.By and large I am not criticizing one person or one word.  Rather I am suggesting that this web site made a decision to smooth the head feathers on one poster at the expense of ruffling the tail feathers of more than 200,000 persons. This web site, and in particular the webman, should not get involved in such issues.  It sets an unrealistic precedence.  And it encourages others to come forth with a list of words that they do not want used when speaking to them.  This web site is not prepared to made a list of words not to be used when speaking to a certain person, so why would this web site make such a concession to only one person out of 200,000?The answer is that one person complained about the usage of the word Indian.  The web site responded by protecting this person, at the expense of the rest of us.  Now this person has received a benefit or a concession that on one else on this site has received, or is likely to receive.  How should the people on this site see the actions of the people in control here?

There are many opinions on the use of the word "Indian" and I don't think it's asking too much to treat someone with respect if they are known to be personally offended by the word... as long as you can use it freely in an appropriate context, which you have been told you can do.  Nothing has been taken away from you, and nothing has been given to this member other than the respect that we encourage everyone to offer one another in their discussion here.I understand why this issue is important to Edog, but I don't understand why it is so important to you. Perhaps there are other things to discuss rather than throwing around comments about head feathers to deliberately stir things up further.I assure you he's more bothered by the fact that I say "Indian Casino" is an acceptable term.Closing this topic now... perhaps we can all move on. If not, you are welcome to start a new thread, but I think everyone would rather read about video poker instead of  a conflict between 2 or 3 members on an unrelated subject.
