Billy, I think you've been in Florida too long.

Nothing like a stuffed pizza from Giordano's. Or a Italian beef pizza from Vito & Nick's.

I thought I read in a local newspaper that Traverso's uses only the highest quality horsemeat available for their pizza. But hey, who am I to judge?
It is good and greasy - I know that. I am still belching..

I actually tried one of those "Italian Beef" thingies when I was in Chicago on business a while back. Seems like I had to take a bath after eating it.  :)

Galeygoo I don't know where you live but I am guessing that we may be about a stone's throw from each other. Growing up I had a friend who worked at Vito & Nicks and we would call to "place an order" and keep trying until our friend answered the phone. He would then take the order slip, go make the pizza, we would go to pick it up and he would give it to us. So in effect, our order never existed. Ah the things we do as kids. It wasn't too often that we would do it and I'm quite sure the statute of limitations has long since expired.

I've had Traverso's pizza Billyjoe. Its not bad but because everyone has different taste, one person's garbage is another person's ambrosia.

Galeygoo have you ever tipped one at Jersey Joe's? Or Gee-Jays (maybe even when it was Monty's?) Wow now how the memories are flowing.
