Where was this ko? Not Tunica (or anywhere in Mississippi) I hope? If it is a "Native American" casino, I wouldn't be surprised. Your results are more indicative of Class II machines.

I don't mind talking in general about that situation but they explained things to me in a way an idiot would understand, I happen to live in an area where I could visit casinos located in 4 different states but I wouldn't say which casino. It's not that I'm scared of them I was just introduced and informed of what could take place if I entertained the thought of continuing my quest to understand and uncover the reasons for my 3 year run of what they said could easily be defined as nothing more than bad luck experienced while playing there and if I wanted to carry it further the bad luck could be carried over into my personal life. No doubt it was just coincidence but I did get audited right after that. Funny story when it comes to the subject of gambling. Many years ago a few of my buddies and myself headed to the beaches down south and ended up at a big dog racing track a few miles away from where we were staying, the place was huge and packed to the gills on a saturday night. A race came up in which a dog was a complete lock, no way he could not be in the money and he was getting bet off the board which was reflected in the odds. I would say almost every bet made involved this dog finishing in the top three. My buddies and I put up $100 each and wheeled this dog every way we could think of as this particular race featured a running progressive pool that involved picking the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and forth place finishers, the pot was way up there. When the boxes opened up all the dogs shot out of the box except for the number 1 dog, all we could see was a tail wagging in the box as he had been put in backwards, not quite enough room for the dog to complete this move himself. Everyone at the track was raising cain wanting their money back money. My buddies and I demanded to see the person in charge and we were led by security down to an office where a very large Italian looking fella met us and ask what the problem was. He laid the law down to us, "quit yer #*!%&*! crying or I'll show ya the !*!*#*! door, you lost and it's in the past, do we understand each other", we did and left. Sometimes it's best to count your losses and move on down the road.

OK, now I'm offended, " a very large Italian looking fella". Do we all look the same?

I've watched a lot a movies about the Italian mafia but this guy was the real deal, he had the clothes, walk and the talk. There was 4 of us, we were young, drunk, cocky and pissed off but this all disappeared when this guy went all out Joe Pesci on us.

Fair enough, but if you would say it "wasn't Tunica", or "wasn't Mississippi", I'd feel better about it. If you can't say either of those, it won't stop me coming occasionally since I basically play for peanuts anyway, but I hope those jerks get screwed in the end.

I still play in Tunica, the Roadhouse used to be my favorite place to play until they dropped their paytables on $2 denomination TDB from 98.15% to 98.97%, haven't been back since. Totally ignorant of them, I run about $1.5 million a year thru the machines and they won't get a plug nickles worth of my play unless they bring the paytables back up. You ever go to The Isle Casino in Cape Girardeau, very good paytables and they treat you right, reminds me of how Tunica used to be. Almost forgot to mention how good the food is, I've never had to pay for a meal there and they make sure to check if there's anything they can do for me or my guest.

Hi again. I talked about this AC VP stuff on another thread but most of you guys are NOT listening. You seem to be more interested in busting DaBurglar's balls than listening to what he is saying. DaBurglar is correct in what he is experiencing. I have no doubt about it. I said it before and I'll say it again. In AC, they can change chips in the machines and tighten things up to an allowable lower limit. Furthermore, in a recent high level meeting in AC, it was agreed upon by almost all of the casinos to further tighten (change chips) in the machines for the summer. The casinos are in desperate need of more profits. With all the summer people and vacationers coming down who have no clue as to what a tight vs loose machine is (and don't really care - they are down there to have fun, spend money, vacation, etc), they are tightening the machines up for more revenue. The people will come anyway in the summer, even if the machines don't pay. Serious VP players in the know and Locals like myself will NOT be playing there. STAY AWAY FROM AC FOR NOW.

Good to know, I have been tempted to make the detour there a few times on the way to/from Tunica to check it out. But I always have my not gambling-addicted g/f with me...lol
