Casino with the best comps in Nevada?
I was wondering whether or not anyone here could tell us of a better place for comps than Riverside Casino in Laughlin. My wife and I have played there on numerous occasions and we are always happy with the the food comps and the dollar returns from our play. Is this program there matched or exceeded by others in Nevada? Thought this start could be helpful for many here. We play some progressive slots there also, but I'd estimate 75% of our play is VP. Thanks for adding to this thread.

laughlin must compete directly with Vegas so it has always been player friendly for as long as I can remember....their comps tend to be more generous than the norm. Its a Lake Mead vs. Lake Havasu (aka lake "Have a few") kinda thing too, I guess.....?

I play at the Colorado Belle and I always get free rooms, free tournament entries, around $50 in dinning credits and $30 in free play. I've played at the Riverside quite a bit and have never gotten anything. The Tropicana is also good, I get free rooms and free play from them periodicly

Personally I'm only 66 years old, so I feel way too young to go to Laughlin! It isn't the comp rate by itself that's important. It's the combination of (comp rate added on the the return on the video poker games plus cash back plus mailers plus whatever promotion is going on) that is important. Casinos with tight games often have looser comps --- but that may not do you any good overall. The video poker in Laughlin in generalSince none of the posts in this thread have mentioned pay schedules so far, it's possible that you're neglecting this. The Riverside does have some decent video poker --- if you're playing their better machines. They also have some lousy video poker. If you're playing those machines the comp rate is essentially irrelevant.Bob

The Colorado Belle has $1 9/6 Jacks or better, and $0.25 8/5 bonus poker. Plus they have a $0.25 9/5 DDB progressive machine that gets up over 99% fairly frequently
