Spinpoker  (nickels) at the Taj was $112,000 before it was hit this weekend. You need to be dealt 4 Aces and the joker! My husband and I both got dealt 3 Aces and the joker-heart attack time!

My last trip to AC. Lady hit the AC 2 pair 3 line .25 progressive at the Marina. A cool 158,000+

Is there anyway to determine which casinos have the current highest progressive VP jackpots via web-sites, slot newsletters, etc?I was thinking, even if I knew where the highest jackpots are (I'm mainly interested in Vegas & AC, I have read about VP team players and wanted to know if they seek out these jackpots making it difficult for a single player to get a machine.A racino recently opened in my area, but the VP payouts aren't good, and I read on-line that VP  video lottery terminals have a pre-determined outcome. My neighbors and family aren't interested in going to Vegas or AC now that the racino opened.  When I mention the fact that I read the video terminal machines have a pre-determined outcome and they should go to the casinos insead they get annoyed with me.  A few weeks ago a woman put $2.25 in a nickel progressive machine (not VP) and won $154,000, and now they all running there to play more often and telling me that I am wrong not to play there!I noticed a few times when I was there that technicians were on a Microsoft Windows screen fixing something, so I guess the slot machines are all operated by computer and not random number generators, I don't know the ramifications of using a computer program to control VP, and could not find any on-line articles on the subject. Does controlling the VP machine with a computer program mean thatthe paying hands can be easily manipulated to come out less often? Thanks in advance for any responses to my questions!

Hi,Thanks so much for your response, that megajackpot web-site is awesome!I like the way they list the maximum coins played for each machine, along with the jackpots.  Now I can run down to AC when the jackpot builds up on my favorite machines!I will definitely stay away from the racinos after I read the posts, thanks for the heads up.

St. Louis Harrahs had a royal flush in line As, Ks, Qs, Js, and 10s which would pay off well over $40,000 and it was a quarter machine. I played it for a time and did not get anything close but cashed out over $200 ahead. It was a 8/5 JOB.
