Re: Just a thought
Hello all, I might be going to LV in the near future so I decided to brush up on my VP play and read about the current topics. I do so appreciate the positive info that people offer on this forum. I notice that there are a few tit-for-tat insult fests which is somewhat disappointing but was expected.
My question is are there any good pay tables on the 50-100 play machines in the downtown casinos or at the Rio? Any help would be appreciated.

Rio? That's a good one. But if you're near the Rio and want to play 50/100 play, walk over to Palms, they have 9/6 JoB (99.54%) for 1c, and 2c. It's one of the few 50/100 play units listed in the VPFree2 database. The next best to my knowledge is Casino Royale, which has 8/5 Bonus (99.17%) or 9/7 DB (99.11%) for dimes or higher. Or "Airport Deuces" (98.91%) at pennies or higher. I also know that Cosmo has 7/5 Bonus (98.01%) for pennies.

Unfortunately, many casinos don't give very competitive paytables for 50/100 play.

Thanks Vman. I didn't know the Rio didn't have good video poker. I will check-out some of your suggestions. Godspeed.

Well, if you're willing to play $5 a hand or more, you can find some decent games like 8/5 Bonus (99.17%). The best game at the quarter level that I am aware of there is 7/5 Bonus w/Super Times Pay (98.29% w/STP). Most Caesars Entertainment casinos have pretty poor video poker now unfortunately.

You likely meant 7/5 bonus, since 8/5 is a 99.17% game.

I meant 8/5 Bonus at Rio for dollars, but I guess I still had the Cosmo penny machine on my mind, which helped me grind back the freeplay for their $100 new member loss promo...lol
8/5 Bonus is a much better 99.17%.

A few of the recent hits from Isle. We've been too busy to post. Some are Sweet C's, our daughter's and a friends $10K.

The $1207.50 hand pay is a little bit rough to look at. Nice hits overall though!!!
And Larry, could you email me (tringlomane@yahoo.com or publicly divulge here if you wish) the casino you found the odd 5600-coin RF payout on the "Airport Deuces" paytable you posted in this thread last year with denominations?

If it's quarters or less, I'll take a stab at it if I ever make it to that casino... The return is almost 100% when factoring the Super Times Pay bonus bet, and is the highest paying version I have ever seen of STP, one of my favorite games. The best Deuces game for STP that I have seen so far was that paytable but with only a 4000-coin Royal (Bally's Tunica for quarters is the cheapest place I have seen it). The 4000 coin Royal version w/STP also exists in St. Louis at the $2 level...grrrr.
I ended up thinking about of this more recently, when discussing "cheap" machines in the 1-coin thread. I have been playing a few machines with 50/100 play STP Deuces machines in St. Louis that have 5600 RF, but the best one only pays 97.77% w/STP included (but still good for many penny machines). Not cheap when playing 100 lines, but some of these units will let you play as few as 1 line for 6 cents.

Now i play at that hotel and never ever won to much except when they had the 2nd boat, there was one machine at the bar that would pay 4 aces at least once per trip. But have never won any thing else. Now i play 50 cents level or 1 dollar or 2 dollar level x 5.Now on they other hand lac in lake charles I had much better outcomes than the isle of capri.Lucky larry does much better at the isle if i am not mistaken. But in the end it is not the same as the past.
