You still haven't said how leaving when you're ahead can possibly increase the return on a particular game if you're not going to quit playing forever after experiencing some good luck.What's the mathematical formula?99.54% + what exactly?

By my calculation, considering the formula above, playing JoB, the return for the non-addicted player is 109.533%.

BTW QD, I don't know what quitting when you're up has to do with "luck". Everyone is up at some point during their sessions with a 99.54% payback (as an example).

It's just common sense and taking what the machine gives you instead of trying to force your expectations on the machine.

Ok, just got home from the Palms. I only played about 2 hours. I put my first 20 dollar bill in the FPBP machine and it gobbled it up in probably only 10 minutes. I recall only winning one push hand.


wow, $20 when i only hit one push hand lasts me about 68 seconds...

You're right, it probably wasn't even 10 minutes. I do play slowly though making sure there isn't something I'm missing in each hand. I play like I have all the time in the world.

Just returned from the Palms. 9/6 JoB. Needed 40 bucks for all the time I played. After quite awhile I managed to get up 70 bucks. I stayed between 50 and 80 bucks up for quite awhile. I pushed it up to +$85 and cashed out. Who knows what would have happened if I stayed but it sure seemed as if this machine only wanted me to make 85 bucks at the most, so I took it and walked out a small winner (which beats a loser every day of the week).

If you are around I have a question. You always mention quitting when you are ahead. What happens when you put 20 in and lose...do you quit down or put another 20 in? So you lose that 20....put another in or quit? See my point. I have played VP all my life and I have often lost with out ever getting ahead...many, many times....and you will too.

Yeah, those sessions blow. Fortunately I had the opposite of that today. $60 up on $1200 coin-in (35/8/5 Bonus for quarters). Only about 1/6th of all $1200 sessions will be that good or better.
