Power of the Pen? Bob causes Downgrade?
On the very day Bob publishes a story about VP at South Point, specifically mentioning the great play that is (was) the 5c 50-Play NSU machines by the Oyster Bar, they were all downgraded to 4-4-9-15.

It could have been coincidence. Hasn't Bob mentioned this bank before in his articles?

Hence the question mark. I believe it was simply a coincidence. I don't think South Point can do anything that quickly.

For what it's worth, I've written about that bank of machines numerous times and have spoken about it in my classes.I have never been consulted when they wanted to take out a video poker machine there. On occasion I did get them to put in a game so I could teach it. Two of those were 9-7 Triple Double Bonus and Double Bonus Deuces Wild --- both of which will be taught in the semester beginning September 10.One of the blessings/curses of people knowing that I sometimes have lunch with Michael Gaughan is that people assume I have far greater influence there than I do. If anything negative happens, people assume it's my fault. Almost always I have nothing to do with the changes. The truth is that players have no idea what I talk about with Michael Gaughan. But since he's my friend, I'm suspect. People want to blame somebody and I'm an easy target.Oh well. Comes with the territory.Bob
