ace bonus amounts in contest
I noticed that when playing deuces bonus in this month's contest, the ace bonus goes up to 10x, but on TDB, 7 seems to be the max. DDB didn't seem to have a 10 either, shouldn't all versions have the same potential? Seemed odd to me. It seems that the amounts are random, but the higher bonus should be available no matter what version you play. Just curious

Nope, and here is why.
When playing all these different versions, the value of an ace varies based on the version of the game you play. It is most valuable in Triple Double Bonus and least valuable in Deuces Wild. To avoid making the Ultimate Aces feature too valuable in TDB, they lower the average multiplier (and they did lower the multiplier range for TDB) you get versus other games. They say DDB has 10X available, but it's probably so rare, you may have failed to get one playing it.
Average multipliers by games (in the help screens):
TDB: Range: 2 to 7X Average: 3.42X
DDB: Range: 2 to 10X Average: 3.54X
DB: Range: 2 to 10X Average: 3.73X
BP: Range: 2 to 10X Average: 3.80X
JoB: Range: 2 to 10X Average: 3.90X
Bdlx: Range: 2 to 10X Average: 3.99X
BDW: Range: 2 to 10X Average: 4.20X
DW: Range: 2 to 10X Average: 4.35X
So if your goal was to win the multiplier contest, you really should play Deuces Wild.

I do notice that all the top ten bonus scores so far come off of DW or BDW.
