...  I don't play DW or JP because they change payouts on any and all lines so you're on your own. I guess if you only go to one casino it would be worth learning DW

davidearl,
Food for thought... DW is a low volatility game and the basis for the many "DW" variation games. Low volatility games don't generally give you the thrill of DDB or TDB but they often let you stay in the game long enough to hit the RF or let you build up gradually. DW is also usually available at most casinos. I find DW a good standby game when I need to play for a while, when I'm real tired( losing concentration-hurting), and it can be played with minor variation depending on its pay return. Finally, I find DW because of low volatility to especially be beneficial playing 50-100 hands. The low volatility keeps you in the game and the number of medium to high hands when playing 50-100 can really give you some great hits.

You might want to re-consider DW and it might become an old friend who you can count on especially on multiple hand games.

Best luck.

Thank you for the advice, Sweetc. As I stated, Deuces Wild is OK when you go to the same casino all the time, because you are playing the same pay schedule. I go to dozens of casinos, so I play Jacks or Better for my low volatility game. I play DDB and TDB for my high volatility games. I can usually find full pay, 9/6 JOB. Soaring Eagle has lots of them.    My wife likes Deuces Wild too, so I practice the game on this site, in case she has a hold question. She mostly plays slots.

Hero Card. Great new promo for our active duty, retired, and veteran members of the U.S. military. You get one complimentary first class room per month. At least $20 per week in pre-loaded premium play. Numerous other benefits and discounts. Sign up before July 31st and get a free buffet.

What a great way to say "thank you". My daughter, who is married to a retired veteran, also got a Hero Card with the same benefits, so they spent two comped nights there and had a ball.

Both Soaring Eagle and Saganing Eagles Landing have upgraded their bartop video poker machines. Both have added Super Star Poker. This means Saganing now has some multiline poker games. More nickel poker games, too.

Many thanks for the info, Dave! I know several who will appreciate this promo and will pass the word along. We are looking forward to the "Neil Diamond" tribute in August at Soaring Eagle.

Thanks, Marie. The real Neil Diamond sang Sweet Caroline at the all star game. I wish they'd have him at The Eagle.

YES! I saw that! He's amazing at 72 or any age! We saw him at the packed Palace a few years ago - sensational performance! Caroline Kennedy was actually the inspiration for that song. Tks,  now it will be playing in me head all day!

Friends are grateful to you, davidearl, for the above info. The guy was able to get his Hero Card and that July buffet offer. They had to wait in Players Club line for 45 min., last Tues. However, his wife, who was not in the service, was NOT able to get a Hero Card. I betcha they will never rescind that offer!

You're welcome, Marie. I usually play after midnight, but the lines are longer than normal. Looks like a very popular promo.

Maybe they made a mistake on my daughter, but we're not gonna ask!
