Decided to take a quick trip to Shreveport after receiving an invitation to the $20,000 Dinner Giveaway. Upon arrival, literally, upon arrival I went to the Progressive $1 Video Poker and within the first 5 hands....voila....

Continued hitting 4OAK in rapid succession until I had to go to the dinner. At the dinner, they gave away 10 $500 Vouchers for play and 8 $1000 vouchers for play. In addition, they chose table numbers and everyone at the table received $100 in play. All of that came with having Steak & Lobster for dinner. The last $1000 Voucher called was won by my Sweet J!
The next morning, our play at the Horseshoe was not paying off, so Sweet J and I decided to travel to Margaritaville and try our luck. I cashed in $1200, $600 and another $1000 without those pesky 1099s to contend with. We made a quick trip through Sam's Town to acquire our free Hamilton Beach Iced Coffee Maker and then off to what proved to be the Highlight....El Dorado!
Sweet J led the way with this hit on her 3rd hand....after throwing every thing away....she got this....

Within 10 minutes...I had to show Sweet J who was the boss......

It'll be hard to top this in Las Vegas next week, but we're sure going to give it our best shot!

Yeah, this will be hard to top in Vegas. I'll be happy to get one Royal there when I go next month...haha

What a fun winning trip report, butchp! Congrats! Never underestimate those vouchers - someone has to get them! What a nice bankroll for Vegas! Win big again and report back to us! A win any time is okay by me but if I had a choice, I should win when I am about to leave for home! Then, there's a better chance of getting out the door with the $.

Wow.....nice jackpots! It's funny how the "held" signs showed up on a 5 card drawn royal and they didn't on the other drawn non-held cards in the other royals.
