Getting the most Winner's Challenge Points

Post by Videopokerjesus »

I had ZERO chance right out of the gate last month as I started playing eight sessions of HUNDRED PLAY, got three bonus entries, earned two more on those, and none thereafter for a measly total of five.

After three days of playing the full 24 rounds plus extras, It was pretty hopeless.

-----------------

Now I understand it is the goal to "make a profit," which means five credits over does it, so a game choice is key.

Any pointers as to what the big people do?

Didn't I "over hear" you say in the chats you had played over 5.5 million hands around 2000 or 2001? I'd say you are the "big people". Personally I like TDB or DDB. It looks to me like they usually have the best payout.

Yeah, from 1995-2006, but things were different back then, and you did not have games like you do now.

For example, I picked an appropriate game yesterday and got six out of eight right out of the gate, but when I played my six entries, I got ZERO additional entries to which I got to play extra games to get extra entries.

Payout is not a sole indicator of this.

I'll just throw out the suggestions that:1) TDB is probably the worst game to play as far as winning % over 100 hands.2) The best game to play for win % in 100 hands may not be the best game to play if you still need 400 points and only have 10 hands remaining. So part of an ideal strategy may actually involve switching games midstream.

I tried to switch midstream once I got wet. Seriously you have to make a choice whether you want to win the daily  or the winners challenge. Then you have to stick to it. Also you have to play a game you know well.

Thanks. I have been figuring this out along the way. Good advice.
