Minn. Fatz, I appreciate your calculations but you didn't answer my question. The question was: would you pay to see the next cards off the deck for a nominal amount of money?

I play video poker strictly for amusement and entertainment so I will overlook ev's more than some of the players, this is the reason why I said I may give pause to go for the quad 3's.

Nope, I don't want to rabbit hunt VP at any price.

I play for entertainment too, due to the state compact limit of 98.5 percent expected return on VP; I'm lucky to find a machine that returns close to 97 percent in fact.

But part of my entertainment is calculating the plays that are going to get me the highest return in the long run and making them at the best machine I can find to play.

Next time offer to buy her hand

I did that once on a $0.25 game when the woman was going to hold a pair of Jacks over a 4CRF. She turned me down.

The ultimate Royal Flush rule, you always hold 4 to the Royal. Hell, I have on numerous occasions threw away a Royal with 1 deuces wild in hope to get a natural.

That is a very inferior play.
