Not as much if the Wild Royal only pays 20 for 1, then it's less than a 10% error. And if the game had a progressive, the Royal would barely need to be over 850 for 1 to make it right vs. a 20 for 1 Wild Royal. Hopefully he is playing a better deuces game than that, but there are a lot of shortpays out there. I also sometimes play a wacky STP Deuces game where the royal pays 5600 credits instead of 4000. It's correct to toss the deuce there too, even if the wild royal pays 25 for 1.

You are, of course, absolutely correct. I was tunnel visioning, and thinking only of the non progressive, 25 for 1 wild royal deuces games i normally play.
