Re: And then there was this...
Yup, there I was noodling away when this came up. Pretty much like my Joker Poker hit 2 weeks ago. Just plugging away and then a thing of beauty. Based on my completions of late (lots of missed 10x opportunities) I hadn't even given it a second thought. Actually I was probably thinking what a waste of an 8x and then whammo. As evidenced by the other hands, its so not likely to produce anything I don't really give it much attention. As Eduardo said, nothing much ever happens on big multipliers, until it does. I've had some great hits on multipliers but this year has been sparse. I was just getting ready to post how most of my hand pays have been between 1-3k with the exception of dealt aces. Definitely something in the water. Don't think I'll ever figure it out but I'm sure trying
I didn't post the pic of my 3OAK deuces on 8x 10 handed that didn't complete a single one. That one hurt but still resulted in a 1,200 hand pay.

You're right roveer, too many times we get nubbed when a big multiplier does pop up. My 8X royal appeared in the upper right hand corner in the same spot yours did and I was thinking the same thing; "great, what a waste of an 8X", when I got it.
Congrats again.
Congrats again.

I missed it, but that's what I usually get, or all black Broadway.

Roveer,
Are you even yet?
So this post has meaning well beyond the chuckle.
Everyone should know that these high volatility games that I frequently post while at times produce great pictures for website message boards, also create huge holes in the ground (referred to as your bank account) that need to be filled. A good part of this year produced very little for me and we all know about my problems with leaving ahead. While I'm not one to disclose my financial position on a message board. it's safe to say that this was a great hit at a great time especially since I'm changing my gambling strategy and lower my loss rate.
After I hit this hand a woman playing single line behind me decided to chat me up. As usual, I was sitting there stoic, quietly enjoying what I had done. I'm not a celebrator in any way. This got the same amount of emotion as 2 pairs. I might have smoked a cigarette to celebrate. But anyway, she kept gammering about how her boyfriend wouldn't let her play these games and only stay to high limit single line. I think she was playing 10 dollar or 25 dollar single line. I had started out saying, yeah it's a nice hit, but these games eat money and then mentioned 60 dollars per hand. Then she told me she was playing 125 per hand on single line. That's when I shut up. So the point I'm trying to make, is don't be fooled by these pictures. I post because for me it's fun. I can tell from just about all of the regulars that they know exactly the cost of such a pretty picture. I don't want anyone getting the idea that hey, I'll just move up to dollars and grab a fortune really fast. Ain't gonna happen. And if it does (once) get the heck out... So say me.

Congratulation on the nice hit rover, maybe this hit takes the sting out of some of the big hits you have taken. Read your post above and understand what your saying. Again nice hit! Sam
