Analyzing Play
One of the things that I try to do when the cold runs comes is reflect/analyze my play. I review my records, photos etc.
During the last few months I didn't seem to be hitting the big hits!
My review showed:
* The games I've been playing are the same high return/low volatility games I usually play.
* Due to bank roll I've been playing more small denomination multi-hand vs. 3/5 (25¢/50¢).
• I've hit lots of 5¢ RF, deuces, etc. but hitting a couple of 5¢ RF doesn't make the same impression as a 25¢ RF. So I need to keep perspective of the denomination being played.
* Sweet C and I are a team, so if one of us is low bank roll or out we share. More than once we helped fund the other especially with her on a cold streak. Its a lot more fun when we both are hitting.
* Being off during the summer, we've probably gone to the casino more often than normal, meaning our entertainment $ has been stretched.
* Physically and mentally, I've done better calling it quits when I'm not in a good mental and physical state. Playing VP sure beats exercising though!!!!
* Financially, I'm getting better at pulling tickets and walking away....OK I'm still working on this one.
