triple triple bonus
I was in Vegas this weekend and played a game called Bonus Royals where when playing $1 the payout is $5000. There are different games with this and one is Triple Triple Bonus. This game obviously has terrible pays on the lower hands but pays the following for the 2-3-4 w/kickers:
4 - 2,3,4 with a 2,3,4 pays 2,000
4 - 2,3,4 with an Ace pays 4,000
I didn't get anything but tried it for a few hands.
For who like TDB, this might be another option.

TTB is my game of choice when I play Winning Streak.

I haven't seen this before, is it available in multi game 3/5/10 format or just single line? Do we know what those same payout would be at the .25 denomination?

The game was on the 'my poker' machine that also has a no penalty double up game along with the Bonus Royal. The games a Harrahs were single line. The demonimations were .25/.5/$1/$5. If I remember correctly the .25 Royal paid $1199 and .50 paid $2500. The 2-4 w/ an Ace paid the same (2000 or 4000 credits.)

Yeah, they are on My Poker units, Ted. Not all units offer "Triple Triple Bonus" though; I know Tunica doesn't. I think Joliet might actually offer TTB, but the better game at Joliet is 9/6 DDB with the "Bonus Royal" for dollars (best game in the casino at 99.57%). Also on these units, "Triple Bonus" actually stands for "Triple Double Bonus".
And FYI, Triple Triple Bonus paytables with 4000 coin Royal. Also as with most "My Poker" games the SF pays 55 for 1. The catch with TTB is the straight only pays 3 for 1, and trips pay 2 for 1 like TDB. Anything > 100% is illegal in IL, IN, MS, and several other states.
10/6 = 100.86%
9/6 = 99.81%
9/5 = 98.66%
8/5 = 97.61%
7/5 = 96.55%
For "Bonus Royals" (5000 credit Royal)
9/6 = 100.36%
9/5 = 99.22%
8/5 = 98.16%
7/5 = 97.11%

Maybe next time I'm in Joliet I'll look for the game and maybe give it a whirl, thanks Vman.

No problem. Unfortunately, free calculators on the internet can only give me the return on that game. But I wouldn't be shocked doing wacky things like holding 33A would be correct. Hell, I'm in a procrastinating lets find out shall we? I'll assume 8 units (40 coins) for the full house first.
Holding 33A:
Quads (3333A): 1
Full House: 3 + 2*3 = 9
Trips: 2*42 = 84
Two pair: 3*42 + 9*6 + 2*3 = 186
Loser: 47*46/2 - 1 - 9 - 84 - 186 = 801
Total combinations: 47*46/2 = 1081
Holding 33 only (discarding one ace and no 2-4):
Quads (3333A): 3
Quads (3333 2-4): 12
Quads (3333 x): 30
Full House: 2*9*6 + 2*3*3 + 9*4 + 3*1 = 165
Trips: 2*(45*44/2 - 9*6 - 3*3) = 1854
Two pair: 9*6*44 + 3*3*42 = 2592
Nada: 47*46*45/6 - 3 - 12 - 30 - 165 - 1854 - 2592 = 11559
Total Combinations: 47*46*45/(3*2*1) = 16,215
33A value:
(1/1081)*800 + (9/1081)*8 + (84/1081)*2 + (186/1081)*1 = 1.134 units
33 value (discarding an Ace):
(3/16,215)*800 + (12/16,215)*400 + (30/16,215)*80 + (165/16,215)*8 + (1854/16,215)*2 + (2592/16,215)*1 = 1.0620 units
If the full house is worth 9 units:
33A:
(1/1081)*800 + (9/1081)*9 + (84/1081)*2 + (186/1081)*1 = 1.14246 units
33 (discarding Ace):
(3/16,215)*800 + (12/16,215)*400 + (30/16,215)*80 + (165/16,215)*9 + (1854/16,215)*2 + (2592/16,215)*1 = 1.0721554 units
So yeah, 33A is slightly better than 33. Same goes for 22A and 44A.
So now let's consider even the more extreme scenario, holding A2, A3, or A4 over an Ace. I won't show the math here for time sake. I will trust the non quad combos from here.
http://www.dagnammit.com/servlet/Discar ... game=jacks
Ace only (discarding one 2, 3, or 4) and no flush penalty:
Royal: 1
AAAA 2-4: 11
4 2-4s w/A: 2
4 Aces: 33
Straight Flush: 1
4 5-Ks: 6
Full House: 288
Flush: 493
Straight: 446
Trips: 4102
Two Pair: 8874
Jacks or better: 45456
Total combinations: 178,365
Holding A2, A3, A4 offsuit:
Quads with Kicker: 2
Full House: 18
Straight: 64
Trip: 281
Two Pair: 711
Jacks or Better: 2955
Total combinations: 16,215
EV for Ace:
(1+11+2)/178,365*800 + 33/178,365*160 + 1/178,365*55 + 6/178,365*50 + 288/178,365*8 + 493/178,365*5 + 446/178,365*3 + 4102/178,365*2 + 8874/178,365*1 + 45456/178,365*1 = 0.47922
EV for A2, A3, or A4 offsuit:
2/16,215*800 + 18/16,215*8 + 64/16,215*3 + 281/16,215*2 + 711/16,215*1 + 2955/16,215*1 = 0.38014
So A2-A4 offsuit is a no.
A2-A4 suited?
Quads with Kicker: 2
Straight Flush: 1
Full House: 18
Flush: 164
Straight: 63
Trip: 281
Two Pair: 711
Jacks or Better: 2955
Total combinations: 16,215
2/16,215*800 + 1/16,215*55 + 18/16,215*8 + 164/16,215*5 + 64/16,215*3 + 281/16,215*2 + 711/16,215*1 + 2955/16,215*1 = 0.4341
So hold Ace only over Ace + low kicker.

Total Combinations: 47*46*45/(3*2*1) = 16,215
33A value:
(1/1081)*800 + (9/1081)*8 + (84/1081)*2 + (186/1081)*1 = 1.134 units

If the full house is worth 9 units:
33A:

33 (discarding Ace):
(3/16,215)*800 + (12/16,215)*400 + (30/16,215)*80 + (165/16,215)*9 + (1854/16,215)*2 + (2592/16,215)*1 = 1.0721554 units

(1+11+2)/178,365*800 + 33/178,365*160 + 1/178,365*55 + 6/178,365*50 + 288/178,365*8 + 493/178,365*5 + 446/178,365*3 + 4102/178,365*2 + 8874/178,365*1 + 45456/178,365*1 = 0.47922
