Re: New Daily Contest Format - Survey results
Hey!! Who cares, we whine on chat cause we can, and not just about non-gold, we whine about sports, spouses, pets, work, the weather (try to avoid politics and religion), and anything else. We pay for the right, you should join us, a lot of good people on here, gold and non-gold, we like to chat while we play- as my good friend Doris would say, if you don't want to read chat there is an X up in the corner to turn it off. You all are whining on forum here about gold members whining on chat, so what's the diff? At about $9 a month you get to be endlessly entertained by poker, or poker and chat, or keno. I spend more than that on turnpike tolls on my way to and from the casino. Can't we all just join hands and sing, kumbya? kumbyu,? kumbay? Whatever, lololol Kati P.S. I voted, I lost, but time to move on...

As many have asked including myself, out of the 1,000 votes, again, and again, HOW MANY VOTED old forum how many new forum? Why can't you just tell us, someone counted these votes, right? Changes the rules prior to a vote does not meet with my approval in any way, its like closing the door to the barn after the horses are out, since I could not vote before at least give the final count. Thank you. Can't wait until the end of the month when we'll all get to play the same game for 6 or 7 days, yeah. Can you say boring
If the vote count was 501 for the new daily contest format and 499 against, it was still a majority. If the vote count was 700 for the new daily contest format and 300 against, it was still a majority. If the vote count was 741 for the new daily contest format and 259 against, it was still a majority. Majority rules so why do the numbers matter? Are you concerned that webman is just saying that the new daily contest format won the election?

Single game family won 55% of the vote, the remaining options combined added up to 45%.

Well thank you Webman for freeing up lots of time for me. I like lots of games to choose from because I bore fast and when one game isn't working I try others. Although it would be fun to win, I mostly play for fun, with the .0001% chance of winning. I've played the daily the last few days, now that TDB isn't the only game, but I'm not having fun. If the site earns money by our playing, which seems to be the case, you're now going to lose money on me because I'm done with the daily contest. And when my membership is up next September right I'm not planning on re-upping. (Taking away Pick-a-Par started my discontent with this sight btw.)

Sorry to hear that, and we'll do our best over the course of the next year to continue to improve the site and hopefully make it more enjoyable for everyone.

There is much discontent over this new format. Seems to me the logical solution is to grab Harry Reid and John Boehner for a meeting with Obama to resolve this.
But seriously, webman, you do a great job for us. Thank you! Just wondering though ... I voted in the poll the first day it was available, however, I noticed the "vote now" option on my page each day after I voted. I didn't click it, but would I have been able to vote again?

Thank you Jimdos. Good to know the voting was fair.
