NOLA 10/13 to 10/16
Leaving for NOLA in a few hours. Staying and playing at Harrah's. Anyone have any luck there recently? Last time I was there in January I hit 2 royals on the 3/5 play machines in front of Besh Steakhouse. Hope they are still there. I have heard that there has been a lot of changes in the VP machines since I was last there.

Best luck I had there last February was like a $18 payout on a Dean Martin penny slot. Good mathematics, good luck and laissez les bon temps rouler! Get yourself some beignets at Morning Call, some BBQ "swimp" at Maison on Frenchmans in Marigny and a Sazerac at Mr. B's on Royal in the Quarter too.

Arrived Harrah's NOLA last night. After check-in played 3-4 hours VP and was pleasantly surprised that the machines I hit the 2 royals on last time were still there. No luck on them so far. I did find a single game 9/6 DDB $1 machine with a progressive that was up over $4500. Played on it for a while. Hit a couple of small 4oak's which allowed me to finish the night almost even.

Yesterday, still no Royal flush.. Someone had hit the progressive on the 9/6 DDB machines I wanted to get back on so it was back down to just over $4000. So I went back to the triple play machines where I have had the majority of my luck. Played mainly Dueces Wild. After several near misses, finally hit 4 deuces. Ended up a little ahead for the trip with one more day to go.

Thank you Galeygoo. Did not make time for them on this trip but have had them there before and they are tasty. We have been mainly snacking in the diamond lounge.
They have really good jumbo spicy cajun shrimp and a wonderful spinach and crawfish dip. They are served in small portions, but, since my wife is a 7 star, we get as many portions as we would like.
