My lucky charm is an elephant. Life size.  They won't let me bring it into a casino though for some reason... they must know how lucky it is!
 
Webman, you know the kind of trouble you would be asking for? The first thing that would happen is the AEA (Americans with Elephants Act) people would be demanding Elephant accessible facilities.
 
Can you imagine the mess the Elephant would make of the Salad Bar.?

For luck...when you find a penny face up, you give it to the person you are with and both of you make a wish..........if the penny is face down, you just pick it up and keep it.

Not really a lucky charm, but I take in my iPod to drown out the casino sounds and noises.  It helps me concentrate on my game. 
 
I've loaded on Larry Carlton, Keb Mo, Prince, Michael Buble, Eagles... on it. 
 
The other thing I have in my pocket are strategy sheets -- just in case -- to peek at.  It makes me more relaxed just to know they're right at hand.

I could listen with you to the Eagles.  Did you know that either yesterday or today, they released another single which I assume is off of that new album they've been promising for the past 5 years.  Supposed to be a Country/Rock tune.  I guess you can hear it on their "My Space" site.
