Re: Vegas December Trip
Good luck to all going to Vegas!
I just wanna wish everyone good luck......period. Everyone. Everywhere. No matter if you are going to Vegas, or to Niagra Falls, or Hawaii.....or if you are simply going to the bathroom, GOOD LUCK!
Hell, if anyone is going.....CRAZY, goodluck with that too....!

Well, just returned from Vegas, and the Gift Events. Was it ever COLD !! No golf, so more casino time, which was not good. No headliners in town that I had not already seen, so I took in the Ron White show at Mirage - funny guy.
I have to say that this was my first trip there where the pond water in front of the hotel had ice in it.

It was cold enough to snow, but never did, at least not on the strip. They did have snow in the Bellagio hotel display, which was neat.

My overall results in gaming were a loss for the trip. I made some money at the table games, but VP pretty much kicked my butt over the whole trip. I saw a lot of the new machines in the CET properties, but overall, they appeared to have the same games and pay tables as previously. At Caesars, they took out the entire row of VP by the Shadow Bar, and replaced it with 13 Keno machines. What's up with that ?! They did add a few of the newest machines, like Frenzy and Crazy Times Pay.
Only one RF for me on my trip, playing quarters ten-way while I was waiting for my Five Star Poker machine to free up. I did see several other RFs, including a dealt RF to a lady playing three way. The 'frustrating' ones were at Caesars, while I was playing $5 single line TDB. I was playing the middle machine of a five machine row, max coin. The two end machines hit RFs within 10 seconds of each other - one person playing one coin and the other playing two coins.
Here are a couple of highlights from VP.
First day, played some at Mirage on Wheel Poker, since it is the only place on the strip that I can find the game.

Back at Mirage later in the week, a pretty nice hit on a single line machine.

On my way back home, I ran into Giada De Laurentiis in the AMEX Centurion Lounge in the Vegas airport. She is such a cutie !!

I hope everyone has a nice holiday season coming up.

You had a few nice hits billyjoe, too bad they were infrequent. Where should we know Ms. De Laurentiis from?

Granddaughter of famous Italian director Dino De Laurentiis, she is a cooking show person.
Beautiful, and cooks too? Why wouldn't you want to know her?

I didn't know she was on a cooking show and I would probably enjoy knowing her. I wouldn't mind being her recipe guinea pig and I would most definitely ask for seconds.
