craziest royal ever

we have all experienced being dealt four to a royal and not hitting it. several times I have played a ten handed super times pay, dealt four to a royal, and not getting a royal in ten hands. last weekend at showboat ac I was playing a fifty cent ten hand ultimate x poker game. a few of the hands had a 2x or 3x multiplier when I was dealt an incredible 2 4 7 9 @ 10 unsuited. I was about to throw away all the cards and hope for at least a couple of pairs for the next hand. I figured. what the hell, hold the 10 of spades, maybe one hand will hit a royal, lol and sure enough on the 8th hand the j q k and ace of spades came out, that hand had a 2x multiplier so I won 2 x 8,000 credits or $4,000.

Good show. I can't top that story. The closest I ever came was holding a single 10 out of frustration on a 10 play job game and getting 4 tens on one line. Sometimes I wish tens weren't even the deck. lol....I don't even hold a suited ace ten anymore on job. I know, not a good play. I just can't stand tens and I'm not alone there.

I have seen posts where a person held A and 10 and got the RF but never just the 10.  Just goes to show, you never know.  Congrats !

Even if the other 4 dealt cards had a 3 of a kind, you would have still come out ahead throwing them away.

I'm never throwing away a ten again.
