{I have played on machines that have been so abused that you HAVE to slap the buttons (or otherwise use excessive force) to get them to register your selections. Happened to me this past weekend down in Oklahoma. You press a button and nothing happens...press it again and nothing happens...finally, you hammer it and it finally clicks on with "Hold".

Just like he says. I play at Southland Gaming in Marion, Ar. sometimes and even though the racino has been open less than a year and they have new VP machines you have to slap the buttons sometimes more than once.

The new Bally machines require a lot of force on the buttons. You're better off just using the touchscreen on them.
