UltimateX comes through!
So Kris and I went up to Reno this weekend to pick up our Holiday Gift Pack (a dozen 8oz Filtet Mignon Steaks; top grade from John Ascuaga's meat packing)Also, it was a freeplay pickup weekend. It started off rough...my $100 freeplay washout only netted me $40 (crappy machine; I shoulda waited for my "luckier" machines)Kris's was $200 in chips so hers is a gurantee $200.I of course promptly lost my $40, so we played on her $200...Actually, emphasis on I played...strangely, a LOT of BJ ($5 singledeck, 3:2, D10/11 only)In the end, we lost the entire $300 ($240 actually)So I told her, gimme $100 and we'll just go double-or-nothing, so we can at least take SOMETHING home this weekend. So we split it, 45/45 (with $10 for tips)..she played 2c Spin Poker (8/5 BP), while I played 5c SuperTimesPay (9/6 DDB 3-play)....I was doing OK, hit quad 10's x4 for $50....then I switched over to 5c Ultimate-X (9/5 DDB 3-play)...I literally got MURDERED! EVERY damn hand would either gimme a pair of 8's or a pair of 9's! WTF!!! I actually got a couple DEALT FH's to get 12x on every line...which followed by GARBAGE would give me ZERO profit, lol.So I was down to like $5, all the while Kris actually rallied hers up to $90...Not even thinking, I hold a pair of Aces (I had Aces & Deuces, but I threw the Deuces away thinking it was the right play...it isn't...buuuut) and I looked down and noticed...WHAM, 3AAAA on the middle line...OHH YEAH there's a 3x multiplier on that line!BAM! $300! LoL, right then I told Kris, CASH OUT! We're DONE!Unbelieveable...last ditch effort and paid off! We ended up going home with $190 of the $300 we came up to get...and after a full weekend of play (not to mention $50 worth of comps earned), WORKS FOR ME!EDIT: Here's the pic...missed it showing the 3x, but notice 6000 credit in bank.

three times I picked up four aces with a kicker when dealt two pairs with aces and threw away the low pair. so it has been the right play for me LOL.

Neither is breaking Aces up. That 12X multiplier is your "friend"...haha Also you get 3X guaranteed instead of 2X. But I'll break it any day if AWAK is coming! Nice hit!

DDB 3 play UX .05 is one of my favorite games. To me it seems there is just enough action to make it fun, while not playing many dollars per game. Hit the multipliers well and some big hits can happen, despite being only nickels. And of course, sometimes it sucks up a hundy in just a few minutes.
