Re: What movie can you watch over and over...?
" The Godfather "..all parts, " The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly",...another long one, and the original " Star Wars".
If you want to go back a few more years, " Midway", " Goldfinger", and " Grease ".....and How could I forget " Bullit"...( I had the identical Dodge Charger even in the same color)....Luckily, mine didn't end up hitting a gas pump. Good idea for a topic...Thanks for jogging my fading memory a little.

"Galeygoo: Couple other of my faves are "Pretty Woman" (Pretty Richard Gere) " ...Oh yes! Somewhere, someone is watching "Pretty Woman" again!About time olds mentioned a Bond movie, one of many memorable ones including "From Russia with Love" # 2 and SKYFALL, # 23! While not into spy and blood, even I enjoyed those BOURNE movies, worth repeating!

Ok gals, I'm going to answer for my wife here. " Dirty Dancing" with Jennifer Gray and her favorite (now departed) Patrick Swayze.

I like its a mad, mad, mad world.its funny.and it has a lot of good actors in it.
W "A BIG W, see....its buried under a big....A Big W.....but watch out for the bulls, lousy stinking bulls! They are everywhere!" YES!!!! Thats one of the funniest films ever, and totally able to be watched over and over without getting sick.....there are so many memorable lines and scenes and the number of Hollywood legends in it make it a one of kind film, it works on every level it tries...... Here are some of mine: 1) Gladiator (Russel Crowe is one of my all time favorites, I also liked him in Cinderella Man, but Gladiator is just so powerful and captivating, I remember the first time I saw it on a Huge Movie screen out in Los Angeles, it blew me away. nevermind that it takes major liberty with actual Roman History, it makes up for it in sheer imagery) 2) Saving Private Ryan (again, does anyone remember the first time they saw this film and that whole opening 14 minute scene at Omaha beach, the sheer brutality of War that seemed to go on forever?? wow) 3) Ferris Bueller's Day Off (Bueller?! Bueller?! Bueller?!) 4) Fargo (Oh Ja???) 5) No Country for Old Men (Javier Bardem's villain was a performance for the ages) 5-1/2) Millers crossing (Ok so I like the Coen Brothers, plus how can you resist a Irish gangster defending his home with a tommygun shooting a bunch of Italian gangsters/assasins while "Oh Danny Boy" plays in the background?) 6) Apocalypse Now (Redux) The Helicopter scene with Ride of the Valkyries is in the top 10 most memorable movie scenes of all time in just about everyone;s list

Oh NO, DaBurglar. You will not see me watching Fargo ever again. That female pg police officer was too hysterical! Fortunately, several family members were with me to help me over that woodchippermachinescene! Even so, it's permanently in me memory bank!

Gone with the Wind, Titanic,Forrest Gump,It's a Wonderful Life, Casino, Godfather,Goodfellas,Meet Me in St Louis,White Christmas,The Quiet Man or just about anything with John Wayne in it,Gypsy,Men in Black, 1,2,3. Anything with Star Trek,Jaws,Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurasic Park,M*A*S*H, Apocolypse now, On Golden Pond, I could go on and on,Splendor in the Grass, but my all time favorite would have to be West Side Story. Like old movies the best though. Happy New Year Everyone!!
