I did not keep records, just basically kept a running total in my head. Those 6 royals were on five play .05 machines. Must have been to AC 16 times last year cause I live so close. Not a big player at all, up about $1100 for the year cash, but when u add in all the comp rooms, food vouchers, free drinks, free concerts etc. I  think I had a pretty good year. This was was only my second year playing VP. Now this year is a different story with CET changing the tier credit requirement on VP. They also down graded the pay tables on the none full pay machines.

First congrats on the 4 royals, 2nd to Mr. Daburglar I hit 6 royals on the 3 QQ machines at Harrahs last year. I've also had days on the same machines when I couldn't smell a QQ. I've also been there when my fellow players have hit Royals, I don't believe anything is fixed, its just being there at the right time. Vman calls it randomness.

I would agree completely except for one point. When you have a trial of hundreds of thousands of hands or even a couple of million and your results fall way outside the norm and in the wrong/losing direction, it just seems like something is wrong. Now what is wrong if anything has yet to be determined. If hundreds of players with tons of trials are getting these poor results and there are not hundreds of players getting much better than average or expected results based on the paytable and expected return, then something is wrong. The problem is gathering enough data and is the data reliable. Then there is another possibility and I hope this is not the case. Could long term results be really someone's entire lifetime or even longer? Maybe what seems like long term to me and others is really short term in the big picture.

Congratulations to you Timspeed and your wife. Wish we had a QQ machine in the area. Harrahs New Orleans has Quick Quads.
