My pic is of my partner 'Aldo'...a Belgian Malinois...9 yr veteran of the Denver PD K-9 unit...12 physical apprehensions...26 felony suspect 'finds'...Purple Heart recipient (for saving my butt)...too many tactical deployments to count...retired with me...and sorely missed.

Don't have a 'wall', but that's my current profile pic...he deserves his due from us.

One computer has a scenic picture from Monument Valley Utah. One computer has a picture of my first dealt royal on 10 play and a third computer has a picture of my departed St. Bernard.

My dell notebook has a neat pic of a big Bobcat lounging in the grass in someone's back yard in Bethany, Ct. It is probably still on the web somewhere. That is where I got it a few years ago.

One fantastic view from the hill side looong porch of the (VICTORIAN) GRAND HOTEL (Somewhere in Time fame-Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve) on Mackinac Island, MI. An American flag is blowing on the lower right hand side. Below are white deck chairs on the grass surrounding the pool (Esther Williams fame-built for her movie) and mature trees. 80% is Mackinac Island State Park, between the Straits of Mackinac and Lake Huron. It's a National Historical Landmark. Two ferry boats are hydroplaning in the distance transporting tourists to and from the island.Bright blue sky, darker blue water and aqua pool. Our sons had given us three nights there for Christmas one year. Rates were better the first week it opened for the season in May. SO we wore ski jackets and gloves while biking 8 miles around that gorgeous island every day. No cars, so bikes, horses and walking are the main modes of transportation. Best fudge in the universe! Cherished photo by husband. As one bikes around the island there is a spectacular view of the five mile long suspension MACKINAC BRIDGE that connects lower Michigan to YOOPER'S land. Thousands walk the bridge every Labor Day.

Don't feel bad Vman...I had windows wallpaper since I got my computer back after xp/hard drive crash. Only recently did I find an icon where the computer store had recovered some of my pics and in it was my Bobcat pic. He is back on the screen now! I would attach a copy of him and post, but I don't know how to do it. I can barely get by with computers having grown up with a slide rule in a leather case with me most of the time. I also remember my former employer paying $ 80- for a large clumsy hand held TI calculator. That was a really big deal. I think it was in the early 70's. I really have to bone up on my stat stuff. I even forget what most of the symbols mean. Think I still have my book from UCONN over at my parents house. While I am thinking of it, what are the odds of any dealt hand coming out in the exact order and suit. For instance, 5 of clubs, 7 of hearts, Ace of spades, 10 of diamonds, and 9 of clubs? I'm guessing every dealt hand would have the same odds of coming out that way. So that also means every hand we are dealt is a real long shot lol.....
