2014 CET 7 Star Benefits Leaked

Post by chattycattty »

For the most part the 2014 7 star benefits will remain the same as the 2013 benefits. The 7 star trip, $500 celebration dinner, annual gift, are among the benefits that will remain the same. It is anticipated that 7 star members will still get the $750 airfare reim. for hitting the 80,000 tier credits along the way but it is not clear if we will get the 2nd 7 star trip like we did last year.

The biggest changes will involve the 7 star events. They are planning an event in Tahoe in August and another in Vegas in October. Additionally they are planning 3 event cruises: 1)NY to Bahamas June 7-14, 2)New England and Canada Cruise Sept. 27 to Oct. 4, 3)Western Caribbean Dec 7 to 14. They will we similar to the cruise event they did last year where all port fees, taxes, and tips will be paid along with some specialty dinners and a beverage package.

They will also have better incentives for bigger players to earn additional events much more so than last year. This is a reliable source but with CET you never know.

I'm just curious on what play level is needed to achieve 7 star status. Is it based on total action for the year, average play, or some other combination. I doubt that my 1m in action with Mohegan Sun and average bet in the $1.75 range would qualify, but wonder what level of play would be needed.

The key to reaching 7 stars is to time your play with tier bonuses. At CET you get 1 tier credit per $10 coin in for video poker. To reach 7 star you need 150,000 tier credits in a calendar year. Additionally on any day you earn 1000 tier credits you earn an additional 1000 tier credits. If you reach 2500 points in a day you get a 5000 tier credit bonus. This year they have added anew tier bonus of 10,000 when you re4ach 5000 tier credits in a day.

For instance you could earn 7 star in 20 days play if you reached 2500 points each day. You would also receive the 5000 tier bonus each day and therefore reach a total of 150,000 tier credits and 7 star status. At $10 per tier credit, you would have to run $25,000 through the machines each day. To reach 7 star you would have to do this for 20 days in this scenario thereby running a total of $500,000 through the machines.

Even if you only averaged a 98% payback due to poor paytables and mistakes the cost for becoming 7 star would only be $10,000 which is not a bad deal for all of the free stuff you get. And who knows, you may get lucky and make a little money. CET does have some machines in AC and in Vegas that require $20 or $50 per tier credit. I have never seen them anywhere else we play. You want to be sure to avoid these if your objective is to accumulate tier credits.

I hope this helps.

CET 7Star last year was 'invitation only', requiring reaching 150,000 Base credits within the calendar year from Jan1 through Dec 31. They keep it 'invitation only' to allow CET to deny benefits if you have some negative, such as unpaid markers or a history of disruption in the casino.

If you play just VP, with most VP machines yielding 1 Base credit per $10 wagered, that would be $1.5M coin-in for the year. CET awards additional Base credits, though, for extended play within the same day, such as an additional 5,000 base credits for achieving 2,500 base credits in one day.

Thanks folks for the replies. Looks like based on my play, I would come up a bit short. My main problem would be being able to travel that many times since there are no CET properties within an easy commute for me.

Just noticed that the 3 cruises and the Tahoe and Vegas events have been added to the 7 star section of the CET website. We missed out on the event cruise last year. We are going to do the NY to Bahamas cruise in June. Evidently, they are going to have a nights stay in Atlantic City and then provide transportation to the cruise ship. Sounds like fun.

That's a lotta coin man. But if we had the back Mrs. Minn and I would be on that fall New England-Canada cruise. One day.

I took that cruise last year..

When I took it, coming from FLA, I stayed in AC for two nights, and then had them limo me over for the cruise. I had no problem getting that from Caesars AC.

Did you fly into Atlantic City or in to Philadelphia? From where we live, we will have to go through DFW. Last year we took 2 junket trips that were nonstop from DFW to AC. It appears on a commercial flight DFW does not fly into AC. We will probably have to fly into Philadelphia. Wondering how we are going to get back from cruise ship to airport. Being 7 star we are supposed to get round trip transportation but it may be too far from NY back to airport in Philadelphia. What are your thoughts Billy Joe?

The few times that I visited AC, I always flew into and out of Philly. I fly out of Tampa, FLA, so I can get direct flights on Southwest to Philly. I have never had an issue with limo service to and from the Philly airport to Caesars AC.

For the cruise, I stayed two nights at Caesars AC prior to departure, and then one night back at Caesars AC when the ship returned. The event offer included transportation, but only to NYC airports, not AC or Philly. Caesars AC provided me limo service to and from the NYC docks for the cruise, and to and from Philly airport for my flights, with no TR credits used. I am sure that agreeing to stay a few nights at Caesars AC and gamble went a long way to them comping all the cruise port transportation.

If you decide to stay at Caesars AC, or any CET AC property, I would recommend that you also ask the host to write up meal comps for you prior to dining during your stay. The host cannot comp food charges made to your room without first taking out any TR credits that you have.
