380,000 hands and counting and that does not include 2 hours of play on a 20 line spin poker game. There were no Royals or deuces quads there either on any of the 20 lines. Wife fared no better and she is now over the 40-43k average herself.

I'm not posting to brag or gloat rather to share my experience. At present I seem to be hitting a royal every trip. keep in mind I'm usually playing 5 or 10 handed machines but I don't believe that allows me to multiply every hand I play by 5x or 10x's because after all I'm holding only on 1 line and most of my holds take away royal possibilities. I consider myself a fast player but probably not as fast as others. I'm not a button slapper and it is not my goal to complete the hand as quickly as possible. As a matter of fact part of my personal strategy is to go slower when holding hands. for me it seems like it produces better results. It probably has nothing to do with anything but that's how I play. My sessions can go 16 to 18 hours, my last session this week was actually 19 hours. I was truly wasted after that. I play 2 games, Deuces Wild and Double Double Bonus. I think I said it before in another post. I played VP for 13 years (not anything like I do now), before I got my first RF.

So there's another post out there someplace which makes me feel just like the OP. It's Lucky Larry's post about his wife who's currently (I believe), 10+ getting dealt royals. I've yet in all of my VP playing, including all of my current massive sessions yet to receive a dealt royal. I believe the stats for those are around 560k hands. I'm well well past that. I catch a dealt royal on my 10 handed STP playing dollars like I normally do, even without a multiplier and it's $40k. I've joked that if/when it does happen I'll be playing nickels.

Hang in there olds442jetaway you've played into this thing for a long time. Eventually it's going to break. and when it does I hope it breaks big for you.

387,500 as of today, but I had some quads close together on job and caught 4 deuces with a bunch of quarters in using the Martingale clone. The ended up being what 1/2 a Royal would have paid, so I was happy. Just mystified....By the way great going on the latest hit.

now up to 394,000 hands. Deuces quads had me up for a while, but evenutally that was given back because no other premium hands came in. The guy next to me was playing dollar job and after 45 minutes hit a Royal for 4k. Good for him. His machine got really interesting for about 5 minutes. He pulled 4 quads in that time, several full houses, was dealt 4 to a Royal in Diamonds, but missed the last card in the draw. A few hands later, he was dealt 4 to a Royal again also in Diamonds and pulled the needed card for the Royal. I also saw a fair share on Aces quads hit with kickers by a few players. Hope this horrible Royalless streak ends real soon. This is really getting old...just like me...

Maybe you should consider playing JOB. I read somewhere that your chances of hitting a royal are a little better but not by much though. In any case, good luck ending your royal drought and getting this albatross off your back.

Still behind you but after another 3 visits this past week I am up from 248,000 to 264,000 hands. Had 4 to it 4 times. I think its just going to have to deal it to me at this point. I normally average about 1 Royal per month I have not had one since last November.

Now broke the 400k mark. 402,000 hands and no Royal. Last one was in September. This trip was OK though. Caught deuces quads on 3 lines on spin poker, and once on a single line game playing my Martingale clone method with 20 quarters in. That was a good one. Also near the end of the day, I played a little Joker Kings 17/7. Had 14 quads in 15 minutes. That is definitely a record for me. Two chances at 5 of a kind that didn't pan out and 4 chances at the Royal for the day with 4 dealt. That is rare too. People around me were hitting pretty good and I saw 2 Royals among the other players. One final rub. Playing regular deuces wild, I got dealt 4 Aces with a kicker twice less that an hour apart. Isn't that a pi..er.

I have played tons on job at Mohegan Sun and have just about given up due to the tremendous runs of dud hands of 20-40 in a row without even 2 pair. Yes, supposedly over time, you might get a Royal in 40k hands instead of 43k hands, but we are in the casino world and until they can convince me otherwise, I think their return percentages are the same or similar to slot return percentages in the 83-91% range. So far, not one person in authority that I know of from any casino has come forward to announce that the vp machines operate in a completely random rng environment and pay not only according to paytables, but to what the true rng program would return as well which as you know is 99.54% for perfectly played job.

I have another possible theory on " slot poker " or borrowing DB's new adverb " slottified " vp. When return percentages fall to near or below the allowable for slots, all of a sudden in short order a bunch of them in one or in many areas will hit all at once for a very short time. Then they go back to their normal horrible selves. This could be coincidence of course, but I want to share a short story from yesterday.
I was playing in a short row of vp with 3 machines on each side. I hit 14 quads on joker poker all with the joker in 15 minutes. On the other side, 2 players hit 4 Aces on ddb. Next to me, a player hit 3 quads on job and the player on my left had just cashed out over 400 after several nice hits. I don't know what they were, but he only put in a hundred. The 6th poor fellow had no major hits, but did get 9 full houses in job in that same time period. Coincidence....maybe...I would really like to know for sure.

Hope you don't catch up to me. Hoping to break the streak tonight but who knows. I should play one nickel job where I would win $ 12.50 for the Royal. That might break it for sure.
