Latest CET Rumor
Heard a rumor the other day that starting April 1st CET was going to discontinue allowing RC's to be turned into freeplay. I do not know if this is some sort of April Fools joke but I hope it does not turn out o be true. Has anyone heard of this or any other rumors concerning CET?

Haven't heard, but if it is true and the Mohegans get wind of it, it is bye bye for mine too. They always copy what the big boys are doing. They just put their own spin on it.

Actually 7 stars is 1.25 to 1 and since 7 stars get a good amount of other things comped, the free play conversion is a nice perk for them.
I read this elsewhere too but no big source to back it up.

April 1st is just a couple of days away. I guess we will know then. As well as a lot of other things. Clarification on 7 star events and experiences. Whether or not we still get the $750 airfare for hitting the 80,000 TC along the way. I wish all of this was rolled out at the first of the year so we could plan accordingly.

Well they have to do something. I read they have lost money 3 of the past 4 years, 20 Billion in debt coming up and down from 2.7 to 1.3 visitors.
They have been unable to recover from the 08-09 recession. And @DaBurglar the same article says Atlantic City, NJ is one of the areas worst hit. Maybe that explains it
Closing Harrahs in Tunica makes no sense to me. I have been there many times and it is the first casino from Memphis so every time I have been there it is always packed. Drive 10 minutes down the road to the Horeshore or Roadhouse on the same night that there will be like 3 or 4 people in there playing.
Unless CET can break into overseas action their days may be numbered.

That may be true sometimes at Roadhouse but Horseshoe Tunica is always packed. Unfortunately they have crappy video poker there. I do agree with you however that it makes no sense to close Harrah's Tunica.

It used to be worse at Shoe though. They do have 99%+ for dollars now. But it's 9/7 DB (99.11%), meh.
