If I can find a $ 5 dollar table tonight at Mohegan Sun, I am going to start out on craps, and if I get a couple of bucks, play a little vp. May be hard to find on a Friday night though, especially a non smoking one. We'll see what happens. I have been practicing a little on the Wizard's site and my Martingale Clone worked well in practice sessions. Very simple really. For every two points not made, add one unit to your odds for the next point. Every win, back down 1 or 2 units depending on how big the hit is. At any point, if you exceed your starting bankroll for the day, just start over with your minimum bet. ( For example $ 5.00 on the pass line and single odds behind the line. I play vp pretty much the same way, but the long dud streaks sometimes offset the small gains. That happens with any Martingale system. This one is just a scled back version I came up with.

FINALLY BROKE IT......518,000 hands on single line real play mix of 9/6 job and 15/9/4/4 deuces.

I had all intentions of playing craps last night, but couldn't find a five dollar non smoking table. Tough on Friday night. I had about 40 bucks in free play use or lose so I figured might as well burn it on vp which at least I enjoy playing. Found a comfortable deuces wild machine in the non smoking section. From almost the first hand, I could tell something was weird or different about the cycle this machine was in. Almost immediately, it dealt me 3 deuces back to back which I never had before on any machine. It didn't connect on the 4th deuce, but proceeded to give me 3 straight 5 of a kinds which also never happened to me before. It seemed to spit out 3 to a Royal every 30 hands or so too. It then went into a cycle of 4 of a kinds coming up every 2-5 hands for several `minutes. At that point, I was up almost 100- and had put in none of my own money. Something told me not to cash out and play another few minutes to see what other trick or treats this machine had in store for me. It proceeded to deal me a wild royal and deal another 5 of a kind 2 hands apart. I was playing my Martingale clone and because the machine was in this hit mode, I never had to go up past 6 quarters. My starting bet was 5. It then hit a few dud hands and I was worried that the cycle was over and it was going into the usual mode these things go into. I had progressed from 5 coins, to 6 coins, to seven, coins and was about to have to go up to 8 coine. I was waiting for 5 consecutive dud hands before the jumps to the next coin level. Anyway, it dealt me 3 to a Royal in clubs. I needed the 10 and king. I thought well maybe while drawing the cards, but hardly looking at the machine since the waitress was arriving with my O'Douls. Bang!!!!!!.....All I saw was the highlighted top bar and I knew it had finally hit. Royal with seven quarters in. Pretty nice hand pay. I only hope I never have to wait this long again, but it did feel pretty good nevertheless.

Thanks Ted. Hope spx gets his real soon too. Keep your roll going. Almost didn't even go up there. As you probably know, the East coast had a big storm with tons of rain and damaging winds that hit this week. We were pretty lucky compared to some poor folks. I was up on a ladder part of the day repairing a twisted gutter and a couple of shingles and was a little stiff and tired. Quick nap and some stretches and off I went. If I hit a couple more, I might even look into an Indian motorcycle project. All I have so far is the gas cap which I had since I was a kid. Don't think I will get to it though, but still fun to keep on the back burner just in case.

YEA Olds!!! Its finally over. The video poker gods have some making up to do for you. There is a good chance you will get more than your fair share of royals in the coming months since you had to go over 500,000 hands without one. BTW did you hit it playing DW or JOB?

Thanks. It was on Deuces wild. All of the wild stuff in my post was on the same machine. I never had one quite like it. One suit and a couple of techs were hovering over it later. I wouldn't be surprised if they took it apart and removed it or changed something inside. Earlier in the week, I had seen a real old timer hit a Royal on it (job) at the dollar level and several other people had hit Aces quads with kickers. The machines around it (this is in a cube of 6) were all pretty quiet. Another funny thing. This machine is only a few feet from the bar in the non smoking section. ( Hall of Lost Tribes ). Another patron at the bar hit on caveman keno for really big bucks less than 10 minutes after my hit. I don't know how much, but the suits and techs were really checking that machine out. The bar had already closed for the evenig and there was almost nobody else around. That is how I like it too.

YAHOO !! Great Job !!

I suspect that you haven't been paying enough attention to the waitresses - that's why it took so long.

Way to go Olds glad it finally hit. I went on a 3 day trip. 7K hands Friday, 6K hands Sat. and 5K on Sunday. And nothing got 4 to it 3 times even videoed the last one thinking I could catch it on tape lol

Total 17K hands got dealt 4444A and Aces no kicker. Also caught a 4th Duece for 2k early on day 1. Rest was garbage quads mostly 10's and Kings this time around.

New total 352,000 hands no Royal

Congrats on breaking the royaless streak. Now hopefully you will begin another streak getting royals at a rapid rate.
