DDBP Holding a kicker

Post by valden »

If you are dealt a pair of aces and a 2,3,or 4, do you hold it? It would seem to me you are increasing your odds of getting a quad of aces by taking up a space.

Never even with 3of a kind would you do that. Bonus deuce games may present situations where you would hold an ace kicker with deuces, but not on Double Double Bonus.

If I'm playing 50 or 100 hands and am ahead for the day (at the casino) I might hold the kicker...but most of the time playing single or triple hands...never.
